  • Veyron is better. this is a race car

  • @thnk4urself veyron is for fanboys who just like it due to its acclaimed "fastest production car" title... when in reality its 16 cylinders each have a pathetic displacement of 0.5L each and needs 4 turbos to get to 1001PS which is actually not 1000bhp. its actually 987. the veyron is nothing compared to these cars. especially the v8s. best engine design ever.

  • @PetrolDemon displacement is irrelevant. They didn't design it that way to say they got the most out of the engine, they designed it that way to last. I'd rather have a large engine than one with every ounce of power squeezed out if it. If you're not a retard, you would realize the more stress you put an engine under, the shorter it's lifespan & the increase in problems. Seriously, you Europeans are retarded sometimes, displacement is the most overated bullshit stat I've ever heard

  • @PetrolDemon that's why you can't double horsepower figures of ferrari's, because they're already at the limit, and that's also why they're insanely notorious for being unreliable. that's why the veyron is better. it's a gt car besides. it rivals a bently while lapping the competition. guess what's number one on the top gear board asshole? that's right, a veyron. it beat out real track cars that don't even have CD players, nuff said

  • @thnk4urself guess what has 8x the power, can go from 0-320 in 4.3 seconds and has only 8 MONSTER CYLINDERS and 1 supercharger. a top fuel drag car. and anyway youre talking about the veyron SS which has 4 even bigger turbos, can only go merely faster than a gumper apollo. lol.

  • @PetrolDemon merely? ok buddy. did you forget the weight difference?

  • @thnk4urself what so half a ton is equal to twice the bhp.... right....

  • @thnk4urself The Veyron SS had 5 laps more around the TG circuit than any other car as Bugatti paid Top Gear to get it on top basicly. Also, it got shat on by the Zonda R, DB9R because its not a race car, its a luxury tourer.

  • @edtri19 all cars get the laps they need. the veyron doesn't have the most laps attempted. don't forget all the cars that had trouble including the koenigsegg CCX and zonda F. A powerful four wheel drive car needs to be driven differently to be at it's fastest. It has totally different characteristics than a rear wheel car and when you add all the power and weight, it's a totally different technique. Stig put in the effort required to give it a fair lap, there's nothing wrong with that

  • @thnk4urself Keeping thinking that

  • @edtri19 I'm not saying that for arguments sake. Trust me, 4wd cars in general need to be driven differently to reach their full potential. Any car that understeers the way all 4wd's do is not going to be able to enter a turn as quickly as a mid rear or even front rear car. Unless of course you get into the habbit of driving it differently. You need to turn a lot harder and fling them into corners. Anyone who has driven high powered rear drive cars most of their life will have a learning curve

  • @thnk4urself sure

  • @edtri19 agreed

  • what just happend?

  • there are no turbos or superchargers on this car.

  • it sounds like a bugatti when it starts up

  • like a bugatti, but a million times better :D

  • CCGT needs to enter ALMS to go against the Corvette C6.R. Corvette has NO competition, except itself. Oh, and can the CCGT run in e85? ALMS, ELMS, and the LMS, all run on either e85 or e15.

  • The road version does. I don't see why this can't...

  • where abouts was this at goodwood? i was in the supercar paddock and never saw it :-(

  • soz m8 ccgt aint classed as a super car, anything that can go 215 or more is a hyper car

  • Yeah it's amazing they did have to downgrade it from using 2 Twin Turbo Chargers. Amazing!

  • Not turbochargers... it uses superchargers

  • this is the race version , they dont allow turbos or superchargers lol dummy , this is a larger displacement pulling around 600-700bhp with no turbo-superchargers.

  • The CCX is the road car, the CCXR is the strip down model and the CCGT is the GT racer to take on Ferrari and Porsche in the GT championships..

  • Well the CCGT fits in GT1 class; while you are talking about GT2 class (where the Ferrari F430 and Porsche 997 GT3-RSR rases in).

    GT1 examples:

    Aston Martin DBR-9

    Corvette C5-R/C6-R

    Ferrari 550 Maranelo GT1

    Saleen S7-R

    Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT

    Maserati MC12

  • correction, the CCXR is a CCX on biofuel

  • very nice car

  • thats gunna blow most competitors out of the water... they had 2 downtune the engine 2 meet regulations, and also 2 meet regulations, they can stratigically place about 300kg of ballast anywhere

  • i think it was just 100kg or about 300lbs... but still, for a road car to become too light for a race is outstanding!

  • i think it was just 100kg or about 300lbs... but still, for a road car to become too light for a race is outstanding!

  • fan i helvete jävlar hur kan man göra en GT-version av en jefla Hyperbil?

  • man hivar de dubbla kompressorerna och lägger på lite extravikter =D

  • that's right and it was supposed to be tested by the british show Top Gear but unfortunatly one of koenigsegg's mechanics crashed it right before the test. I'm really exited anyway for that test to come. If they dare to try it out again :D 1018bhp.

  • Isn't it called the Koenigsegg CCGT as the topic says?

Anyway there is an upgrade to the CCX that makes it a CCXR i think, and that has about 1000 hp..

  • thats sick dude is it a racing version of the cc????????

  • man that is one sexy car
