I agree, GF's services are very good. I had been on GF in Mar 2005 & seen these same ad's on GF. Anyday, better than N American airlines. It was a welcome change ..YYZ-FFT on AC..yikes !!! & then awesome service on GF. During the 70's & 80's, GF gave excellent service, till the mangement changed in 90's, and got lazy N African flight attendents.
Times have changed, GF is facing tough competition from EK, Etihad & now QA. Just hope for the best & that it does not fold up.
We have male cabin crew but they are either Omani or Bahraini. Crew from owner states, Oman & Bahrain. but Oman gave up its share about a week ago making Bahrain the sole owner!
Its not really paying the female staff less than what other gets, its a matter Standards among used to be owner states.
The Flight Crew are a mixture of all genders & Nationalities.
A discriminatory airline in so many ways! Female only Flight Attendants wanted so many times advertised! Must be under 35 (no 'oldies' or males allowed even if they have great job skills). Even then, these 'cabin crew staff' may be from other countries where they can pay less. And they'll be scurrying around because, in my experience, the flightsI taken (mistakenly), there always is a shortstaffing of some sorts (cut costs? Yeah I think so). Get to the 21st century Gulf Air! Shame
I love this commercial and gulf air! I have never been so happy with the service i got of a airline like them. Must say that i still have the tune in my head!

are ambassadors of the Swiss spirit, which stands for quality, reliability and hospitality.) Maybe you already heard this at LX. It was once written in huge letter at OPS in ZRH. Our "Flyers" are absolutely perfect and gorgeous, our TV spots by one exceptions are not.
For sure.. would love to have a Commercial like this by LX! GF don't make a competition with LX so... The arabian culture can be so good exposured in this Commercial, what would you show in an 1 minute film about Swiss? Cows? Lakes? The Matterhorn? :) But ... just btw, will work on the short commercial for the VA soon!
