Malkin only played 30 some games last season and Crosby only played 41, but their average attendance was still sellout numbers all year round. Ottawa has a great fanbase, and I'm a part of it, but I honestly have to say that Crosby > Spezza. He's younger, faster, has a cup, a gold medal, has had a 100 point season... I love Spezza though, he's in my top 5.
