what a gr8 composition orchestration arranging esp in the 3rd interlude the spl effect by the harmony with human voice an xlnt example of art & the genre. hats off & salutes 2 laxmi-pyare. sweet voices of the gr8 lata g & mukesh g.
Thanks for posting this song. I hear this everyday. It does bring back sad old memories but that is also a kind for happiness. Thanks once again for uploading this wonderful.
During my teen years I used to be a big fan of Manoj Kumar - so much so that my friends used to call me Bharat (that used to be Manoj Kumar's name in his own productions). This song summarizes the meaning of life! My friend, thank you for posting this video.
As a kid, I growing up in the 80s this was one of my most favourite songs. Unfortunately we didnt have a tape recorder at home so would very rarely come across this song. May be once in a year. It made the song all the more special. Now I have it on my iPod and can hear any time but still the magic hasnt faded a bit. .
I have heard this so many times now that I do not like it so much.

I often sing this song to my mother and my mother to me. Now after she is gone, the song bring tears. Akon me samundar hai, ashaon ka paani hai

Ek Pyaar Ka Naghma Hai, Maujo'n Ki Ravaani Hai
Zindagi Aur Kuchh Bhi Nahi'n, Teri-Meri Kahaani Hai

Kuchh Pa Kar Khona Hai, Kuchh Kho Kar Paana Hai
Jeewan Ka Matlab To, Aana Aur Jaana Hai
Do Pal Ke Jeewan Se, Ek Umar Churaani Hai
Zindagi Aur Kuchh Bhi Nahi'n, Teri-Meri Kahaani Hai..

[red] Tu Dhaar Hai Nadiya Ki, Main Tera Kinaara Hu'n
Tu Mera Sahaara Hai, Main Tera Sahaara Hu'n
Aankho'n Mein Samundar Hai, Aashaayo'n Ka Paani Hai
Zindagi Aur Kuchh Bhi Nahi'n, Teri-Meri Kahaani Hai.. [red]

Toofaan To Aana Hai, Aa Kar Chale Jaana Hai
Baadal Hai Ye Kuchh Pal Ka, Chhaa Kar Dhal Jaana Hai
Parchhaayiyaa'n Rah Jaati'n, Rah Jaati Nishaani Hai

Dam Ghutne Se Pahle Hi, Aawaaz Utha Laayo
Khushiyo'n Ki Tamanna Hai, Ashko'n Ki Ravaani Hai

Thanks for this immortal song.
Manoj Kumar started and completed writing the story for "Shor" in ten hours while travelling in a train and the movie went on to be a huge success.
Also Nanda ji acted without charging a paisa ,which Manoj Kumar gratefully acknowledges in his interviews.
