  • whoever disliked this must have been born in the mid 90s, and doesn't know what dance music is!

  • Top, top tune, i remember the halycon days of the late 90's, this tune was haunting, emotional, superb.. I'm 46 now, but still love the trance scene, i introduced this tune to my girlfriend when we met 8 years ago as the lyrics reminded me of her, she loved it, we now call it 'our tune'.

  • @2bornottoby

Too true mate, we'll never see anything like those or the hard house days that came after them again. When most of the clubs were under the mainstreams radar and everyone knew the score and knew their music. One thing destroyed it all though and 'just say neigh'

  • The good old days. They dont make tunes like this anymore! I'm 29 now but wish I cud go back!!

  • THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW TRACKS THAT I JUST SIT BACK , PUT ON REPEAT , AND LISTEN TO FOR WEEKS . PURE CLASS !!!!

  • Oakenfold New York Global UNDERGROUND....I remember being introduced to this by my Uncle. It was so strange and mysterious....so beautiful... this pumping dark, euphoric wonderland... amazing....Of course this is a very specific time in dance music. If U were there I salute you!

  • ahhh shit the memories....turn it up

  • I love the way Oakey just f*cks tunes off. He is unique on the dex. GU007 New York disc 1 is my fav GU alongside both discs of Sasha 009 San Francisco. Nick Warren Prague is third, These three won't be topped.

  • Klasyka! Stary dobry kawałek który nigdy się nie nudzi!

  • the complete tune it has everything, still luv playing this. what a team they were!!

  • Takes me back to the days of Tunnel, Soundfactory and Exit.... The days of good mdma and dark beats..

  • one of the all time greats........used to have it back 2 back on a 60 minute tape.....fuckin kickin!!!!!

  • GU002, all-time classic

  • I want this played at my funeral

  • @aaindahouse are you gonna die anytime soon haha dumb ass comment

  • @Jp4955

how is it a dumb ass comment I want this played at my funeral its an amazing song. Nuff said

  • @aaindahouse agreed.

  • Great trance this, with the one you love so deeply, both hearts beat with the rythm.

  • When words fail Music speaks

  • toll

  • thanx

  • Is this a RMX or just the beachball beats

  • Amazing song that brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting it.

  • my brother in law lost his brother he was murded and this song reminds him of his brother he died 20 feet from his house every time i close my eyes i see your face thats enough for any 1 rip joe morley god rest you soul love you with all my heart respect

  • cream at nation 1998

  • Mike Koglin Remix -- best remix. nalin and kane version does not flow

  • this beat is great, point blank.

  • Rocks my socks.....

  • Cant believe this was 1997! It was so ahead of its time. Wicked tune.

  • @MrDarksidematter thats because this actual piece of music is from Pual Oakenfolds Global Underground set & he adds his influance, extra keyboards, echo, extra beats & he has always been a leader & Innovator.

  • Comment removed

  • @spiritinthe7thsky: I have both records and Paul just mixed them together. He didn't do anything special like add extra keyboards, echo, or beats. He may have edited Mantra for timing, but really, the only thing he did that was special was program a helluva nice CD.

  • monstah track

  • trance---the most beautiful thing in this world :)

  • love this track this is taken from a free cd given away with ministry the magazine back in 1998 !!!!

  • @superchip138 I had that and it was wicked!!!

  • This is more like it, what the hell is with the more recent remix. Pile of pants!

  • @stuntedmonk Yes i with ya but why rip the whole beat off why not re-invent it morph it into something else beachball was their tune anyway so why copy your own stuff original is better and A Man called Adams mix is sweet-Peace- Slaz *_*

  • I rememeber hearing this mixed with Mory Kante - Yeke Yeke.. Needless to say, I couldnt stand up after it!..

    SESH ON!..

    d-.-b

  • was this song in paul oakenfolds new york album??

  • at an afterparty in orlando, blowing up nutz....some dude spun this song at the party, and that night i realized i was in love with my girlfriend....and at the same time... i lost her that night....it never worked out...but we're friends to this day and this will always be our song...

  • Took me back...

  • Its good but Nalin & Kane had a habit of using the same beats almost sounds like Beachball at the beginning thats not a criticism just an aural observation

  • @Slazfreska This tune was inspired by Beachball. Look at the biography for Lustral on wikipedia...

  • @Slazfreska: Yeah, because these totally sound like beachball: Capricorn - 20hz (Nalin & Kane mix), Lambda - Hold on Tight (Nalin & Kane Remix).

  • tingles through the body, may they play it on my die'ing day! :)

  • SO MAMY MEMORIES...(weston bartlett r.i.p. ur sister loves you)

  • Sweet,massive song :thumbs up:

  • I forgot to mention that the vocals are performed by European singer Tracey Ackerman :-D

  • My favorite classic tune from Lustral!!! Nalin & Kane Remix is THE BEST!!!! (I also like the song that's playin before this one - "Mantra" by E-Razor. Love the piano playing at the end). Those were the best days when classic trance took the world by storm! Progressive house music is pure crap!!!!

  • I have had this on 12" since just after I got into DJ'ing 10 years ago. Paul Oakenfold's Global Underground from NYC Disc 1 still remains in my top chill out cd's to listen to. I personally believe that trance went downhill when people stopped making music with synthesizers with well thought out compilations and began using computer programs to crank out crap tunes.

  • It's as if all of the thought, feeling, and emotion left in place of record companies picking up absolute garbage to try and push out in an attempt to make quick cash, similar to what happened to the music industry as a whole in the 50's through today. Almost all electronic music went top 40 and unfortunately great genres like trance suffered because of it.

  • One of the biggest tracks of all time

  • this is from the Global Underground cd mixed by Paul Oakenfold, right? A dream :-)

  • lifetime favorites next to reflekt - need to feel loved

  • Lovely Song !

  • Soooo beautiful!!!

  • I'm in love right NOw listening to this sick beat!!!

  • Jesus Christ!

WHY DON'T PEOPLE WRITE TUNES LIKE THIS ANY MORE???

    A load of piss nowadays.

  • Woooooow whats a nice Track, thats Musik to fly.....

    THANKS FOR UP

  • teza01 i wouldn't say that trance was better, because most of the stuff nowdays is just evolved from the older generation of music. its just it all has different effects on you. like if i listen to trance i feel relaxed, calm, as if im part of the song slowly flowing along in sync. if i listen to progressive or hardhouse ext i sort ov feel like somethin has taken over me. no cares in what i look like dancing like a fool im having fun

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

    Big memories, big rushes!

  • Off the hook!! Dunno if I can relate to everyone saying trance is not as good as used to be. I just think it has changed but not necessarily for the worst. Its just the way things are....things change...Otherwise it would be saturated with the same sound for years and very predicatable

  • @CSnostra1980 I was there from the start as a dj there were seasons / months that everything @ the record store was Bang On !

There wasn't enough money to buy everything u liked ! could blow $300 easy each record shipment. If u liked something u bought(2)for sure ! there were times, remixes came out and it was like some ok parts on (Some) mixes ,but otherwise crap mixes.Today very few tracks have (Individual Hit Status) they're all similar can be predicted but all dj's r hungry for - few Aces !

  • its goooood

  • best tune for long timeee

  • aye trance 4eva ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Get me some bongo's right now!

  • good mates good clubs, good times good drugs

one of the best me thinks!!!

  • bbeecchhbbaawwwsssssss

  • So goooooood memories! :)

  • omg this song makes me cry. i have a lot of good memories 2 this tune; goosebumps all over my body

  • This pretty much sums up trance!!! Bloody amazing.

  • Super song

  • stoned.

  • A classic played hard and loud at "The Dome" in Melbourne. Thanks for the post.

  • Classic, proper classic A+

  • Trance evolved into Progressive house, which then evolved into Progressive Trance. Either way - its all class.

  • sounds like beach ball

  • @andyrew4519 I think this is ripped from a MOS compilation (The one with the purple cover, 3 disks) and Beachball was the track prior to this, so its the beat fading out at the start of this track. Both incredible tracks though!!

  • ICU generation trance 2000. one of the best CDs (2pck actually) ive ever heard. old but is damn good! "Exodus" and "Angel Falls" are 2 tracks i can remember for sure. i think someone posted both on youtube if theyre still up...

  • this is one of the best songs ive ever heard!

  • right said fraid!!

to all of those who went TO THE CLUB!!!

  • Classic... <3

  • Too repetitive

  • fucking beautiful. mixes the highs of the vocals and the synths with the lows of the bass and deep piano synth, amazing. glad i found this one again

  • This song blows away most of these singing la, la, la vocal pop garbage that music of these new kids are calling trance, today! Yeah, singing is great, if done right, but too much singing turns a potential trance song into a pop song. They did this one right! That A&B "Alone Tonight" pop type garbage makes me want to beat the shit out of someone!

  • i like this song to get high with my girl and have a fuck before a sweaty dance...

  • why are people negativing this comment? this is awesome, let the man enjoy himself in whatever way he chooses

  • i can jus think of pullin the the face to this tune.. IMENSE

  • OMG hooj choons vinyl sitting in my loft!!!!!!!! I am going to have to bust out the techniques :D:D:D

  • can just imagine the slow-motioned fast movements of someone completely into the pure beats without any care of how they look - simply wanting to manifest the audio in their self

  • Production is absolutely wheres its meant to be. Listen to it! Precise, tuned in for the people and sooo effective. No bells no whistles just devastating. WritemebackjusttochatMatt

  • yes exactly. genuine or more so than these days

  • top classic. how trance should still be like. shame

  • 3:46 bang.

  • Tune love this song its an animal!!!

  • I think trance went down in the music in part because of the bad image that was created around the fans of this kind of music, the use of drug among them and other external factors. But trance music evolved wrongly, and lost its harmony and musicality. Now the progressive house is taking control of the fans of the old trance music. Please return to your former glory , trance :D

  • drugs spoil everything eventually. they cover the reality of things

  • @pedt 1. drugs are good, m'kay? 2. PROGRESSIVE HOUSE IS INCREDIBLE

  • You need wash your ears, man!!!!

  • @pedt ye ur right on, we need to see the return of the old skool clasics like this

  • @pedt Makes sense actually, ProgHouse is much more trance than "trance" nowdays..

  • @pedt If they would only create trance like the old days, with a soul, with passion, with that bit of emotional touch... I would gladly return. Today's trance feels more like " we have to make music on 140 BPM, with big breaks and hard loops"

  • @pedt is it worth mentioning that the sounds used to produce trance music were specifically desinged to induce ecstacy "rushes"

  • @nisbetsloyal true, but in my humble opinion, they make a lot of sense to me when I'm sober, too :)

  • @pedt i know what you mean what happened 2 music i miss the old days

  • @pedt Very well said

  • This song is just incredible. Hopefully trance will make it's recovery soon. It just hasn't been the same since the late 90s.

  • @mbcurry1981

Fully agree its lost its way, shame

  • tune

  • love it soooooo much....

    nice backview....

  • Love this song, when I went to a rave party, all people enjoy the moment with out bad feelings!! Everybody conected in the same way..
