In Marechiare there is a window, my passion flies there, a carnation perfumes the air beneath it, the water murmurs, in Marechiare there is a window.... Who says that the stars shine bright has never seen the splendor of your eyes. I know so well their burning light that descends into the depths of this heart. Who says that the stars shine bright?
@dziady1 wow you have no idea what you are talking about!!!! he was a master and he used his voice in the best possible way, no one is like him... you are dreaming if you think he was not a perfect tenor
@swinemaid LOL, that's funny. " Crude". You gotta be kidding. " No feeling". Even funnier. Oh, and uh, sounds like the audience wouldn't agree with these stupid comments.
@chrissy1095 I`m sure you don't what I'm talking about.....first of all his Napolitano dialect is WAY off but Im sure you just listening to melody...this is a perfect rendition.......Listen to the mario lanza version thats right on
yea it really amazes me some pianists can be so gd that even they play accompaniment (really just a few chords) they sound so interesting. this guy (james levine) usually acompanies yo yo ma?
and i remember once listening to a viola piece with piano accompaniment and the pianist sounded much better than the the violist (not intentionally ) and it was uncomfortable.

His voice was so thin...compared to his massive body. Maybe Corelli's voice was 3X the size of Pavarotti's?

I can sing WAY better than Pavarotti.
At least I think so when I'm way drunk in the shower.

Pavarotti was a beautiful singer in his London days, then the voice became tight constrained at top and rest rather plain
but he knew most tricks to keep it going
and those that came to adore him could
never face the fact that he was a lazy
2nd rate artist if he ever was an artist . I saw him many times in opera and he was
just passable . People hear what they want to hear .I heard him at the beginning
when he was a beautiful singer to when for
me he became a farce .

You shouldn't post when youre drunk.
Lanza is magnificent, but Pavarotti is sublime. There's no comparison. At ALL.
