What did all that money get spent on exactly I wonder? It surely didn't go toward health care for rescue workers, it didn't go towards salaries either. From what I understood some of the rescue workers were volunteering their time. So when they give the figure in the billions, who got the money? People at city hall I'd imagine. Shame on NYC for underpaying their bravest and finest. Shame on them.
