I believe so. JDF very nicely puts it that there were issues, but its not hatred. I think BULK put it best in his no pink spandex interview that ASJ was 'extreme'

Watch AFO 08 Jason David Frank--the one where he explains his reasons for challenging Austin to a fight. He explains himself pretty well. And as much as I like Austin, I have to believe that JDF is telling the truth. He knew that what he was saying would end up on here, and if he was lying he'd get called out about it. I don't think he hates Austin--he just wants him to put up or shut up, IMHO. And anyone who has seen him lately can tell--he's ready!! He's built like a tank!!
