  • 6:15 "Wipe them out, all of them." "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooo...."

  • @icehawk84

you thinking about the episode I trailer?

  • @anakinfan8 yup :)

  • Does anyone know what 1:00 to 2:00 is? is it part of the rebel fleet track or something else? Thanks

  • @SPM088 Thats the Love Theme from Star Wars and yes its part of the Rebel Fleet 2:00 is the End Title part

  • Seriously, who doesn't get the goosebumps at 5:52 . The Empire Strikes Back is a masterpiece in so many ways. Cheers

  • Anybody have any idea what the motif from 0:58 to 1:22 and 1:47 to 1:58 is called? I hear it frequently in the soundtracks for both ESB and RotJ, but I can't figure out what or who it's supposed to be associated with.

  • Remember, the force will be with you... always.

  • May the force be with you!!

  • SOMEONE DISLIKED! CODE RED CODE RED!

  • @MrPokemon493 It was Darth Vader

  • At 0:54, "Someday, I'm gonna buy my moms a place with a view like this."

  • 1:33 - chills.

Funny how the only place you can get this good old star wars feeling nowadays is in a game set some thousand years before the events of the movies. And likewise a pity that George Lucas mauled the movies in the dvd and blueray releases. Guess we can just hope for them to release the original versions once he is dead. ^^

And what is there to say but that John williams is one of the best music composers that have ever lived.

  • May The force Be with Us

  • And I have to be able to play this at school?!!!!

  • I still get chills from the part starting at 1:32 to 1:48. Very powerful and moving.

  • i love this song!

  • Chewbacca:Why are you wearing Han's Clothes?

Chewbacca to watcher:In fact, watch the actual scene, it shows Lando wearing Han's clothes, it's pretty weird.

  • @BlazingNetwork I always took it as Lando changed into traditional smuggler garb that Han had left behind in the locker..

  • The Best part:

    5:52 - 6:28

  • @RaphaelJ02 Nice...but the best part is

    3:42-4:37

  • in 50 years the "star wars" story will be "remade", new actors, new special effects, a new visual medium, new everything... all that will remain... is the score.

  • One ho-bot downrated this

  • STAR WARS FOR ETERNITY!!!!!

  • this almost makes me cry

  • RIP Irvin Kershner

  • The greatest medley in history!

  • Best part at 1:00 and onwards

  • LOL, this fully summarizes why I wish John Williams would score my life.

  • Are you Luke Skywalker!! Ive got something for you!!! A letter!

  • 3:42 - 4:36 is my favorite part! It was just the main theme for this episode because of the title!

  • and yes, one reason I always loved watching this movie on VHS is that I could listen to the whole ending credits...

  • this score brings so much fond memories of sunday mornings with my family... it was winter 1985. I think, and it was warm in the house, while outside was snowing... and the atmosphere was pefect for seeing the Hoth battle, the mystique Dagobah swamps, strange Dark Cave experience (it took me years to understand it!), the Bespin duel with lightsabres flashing and Luke loosing his hand...not to mention the "I am your father line" and the Rebel fleet at the end...

  • the force is not strong in the one who disliked it!

  • my favorite jingle in Star Wars 2:55-3:10.

  • i never really played star wars galaxies. I was pretty much addicted to empire at war. I know u don't hear this in the game, but i DO remember it star wars episode III the video game when u beat a level. pretty peacefull tune i would say.

  • awe. Brings me back to star wars galaxies!

  • which track is on the family guy something something something darkside soundtrack where they were bout 2 freeze solo

  • Yes! EARGASM!

  • John Williams is the modern day Bach/Beethoven

  • the best SW movie with the best soundtrack IMHO. the movie ended on such an open ended and ambiguous note. so many stunning revelations, so much damage done to my hero's, so many future battles still to be fought.... it was a bit much for a 6 year old used to the good guys winning handily at the end of the flick. the ending scene in Empire still gives me goose bumps.

  • @MpowerdAPE you where an 80's child too eh? yeah, the good guys did seem to win on an almost daily basis, diden't they? one good thing about good vs. evil cliffhangers though: you SOOOOOO totaly knew it was ganna be worth it to catch the next installment! like, the deeper the trouble the hero's where in, the bigger the payoff at the end!

  • -"Is it good to go?"

-"yeah but I recommend practicing on a hotdog first..."

  • Play this at my funeral!

  • @bikeous23 lol. Yeah, It would make good funeral Music

  • Empire strikes back is my favorate out of all the starwars movies. I don' know about everyone else here, but that is my opinion.

  • Great memories of star wars galaxies. A tear comes to my eye because of the good times.

    lol

  • @Jacen47 great memories of star wars "tie fighter" , i miss it so.

  • mix this soundtrack with adiemus!!

  • this song is awesome

  • what the F#$% is swg?

  • @brownbizzlefiddy8 It's a MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) Star Wars video game. Similar to that of the infamous World of Warcraft game. It was a pretty decent game when it was released, but over time the developers decided to change the gameplay so that it mirrored WoW's gameplay. This ultimately brought upon SWG's downfall since it really started to suck, much of the player base canceled their accounts turning the game into a ghost town.

  • @NinjaDoctor9 now with swtor coming out maybe we will once again have a great star wars mmo.

  • @NinjaDoctor9 Which.... SWG is now completely shut down :S

  • @brownbizzlefiddy8 Star Wars Galaxies...it was finally ended a few weeks/months ago in favor of Star Wars: The Old Republic

  • does anyone know if there is a video recording of this being played by an orchestra? I can't seem to find any

  • 1:00... I cried a bit from that moment on.

  • All right is this thing good to go? Yeah but practice on a hot dog first. Otherwise you might rip your dick off.

  • I think this is my favorite instrumental in star wars. It has everything, and I love every second.

  • I wish MY Empire soundtrack had this concluding tune instead of the one it has, instead.

  • totally love this score

  • 5:53= The most epic thing in SW films!

  • is star wars galaxies game still playble?...i think i saw something that it stopped...

  • It's playable, but not worth it. I'll let you make up your own mind about it, but make sure you know your info before playing. There are two phases of the game: The "Old version," referred to as the Pre-CU and CU, which had 32 professions, with customization and no classes or restrictions and was a unique sandbox environment. Then there's the "New version," the NGE, which reduced it to 9 cookie-cutter bland boring classes, with minimal customization. SOE only runs the new (sucky) version.

  • @ccisbeast alright thanx

  • @ccisbeast they changed the game, it's not the same as it was 5 years ago. People need to stop thinking of the old days, and telling people not to play. IMO the game is at it's best in over a long time.

  • @mrwtf you know, its a bad sign when people look back fondly at the old days...

  • The ending to this piece is far and beyond the most epic musical conclusion to ever grace my ears.

  • The begining is the best part

  • this song (and all the other music I suppose) was the only good part of swg

  • @Velix515 I think the best part of SWG was the 400,000 Jedi running around... especially since the time period was set shortly after A New Hope...

  • @NinjaDoctor9 That was only after it got Screwed up

  • @S67Snail Haha yeah, I remember. Adding a Jedi profession was pretty stupid lol.

  • @Velix515 Swg was good before the CU. I enjoyed it, at least.

  • my personal favourite of star wars music

  • I think it's kind of funny how similar Princess Leia's Theme, Han Solo and the Princess, and Marion's Theme (yes from Raiders of the Lost Ark), and Juno's Theme (from The Force Unleashed) are all so intertwined. They all clearly use the same basic motif, but with small differences that eventually form out into entirely separate melodies. Of course, they're all so well done too.

  • @darknipple hasn´t john williams done al of those.

  • everything but juno eclipse's theme.

  • good to know :)

  • Awesome soundtrack and amazing quality. Thank you soooo much for posting this!!!!

  • My college wind ensembke was gonna play this for little kids but our director dropped it cause we ran out of time :( Everyone in the group was pissed.

  • Is it bad that i can recognize what movie and what part/planet theyre on by just hearing the music?

  • @tostedcheeseman Even though they aren't on a planet when this music plays? They're on the medical ship at the end, when Luke recieves his robotic hand and Chewie + Lando set off to Tatooine. At 1:40+ the scene pans and shows the entire fleet.

    Yes, I am that nerdy.

  • i no that i was on this video when the realization hit me

  • not one bit.

  • not one bit lol

  • A perfect soundtrack for a perfect film

  • i always loved the Imperial March redition at 3:42..it starts stong, and stays that way for the whole piece. for me, this is emotional defination of the Empire: LARGE, and in CHARGE!

  • I take it you favor the Empire?

  • What's the name of the theme at @1:00?

  • "Han Solo and the Princess."

It's basically Han and Leia's love theme.

  • The quality of this track is beyond words

  • lol swg menu theme

  • haha, yeah, I remember hearing this song while I was creating my character like, "Which movie is this song from again?!" It had been awhile since i'd watched the original trilogy.

  • One of the most emotional ending to the best saga ever.

  • 5:25 !!!! :)

  • Han and Leia Theme is the best in this Track

  • 1.01 - 1.58 incredible !

  • beautiful soundtrack, beautiful movie

When i listen to this it bring back memories

  • end trailer of star wars empire at war:

    5:52 to 6:16

    it's just great! :)

  • yoda's theme is so awesome

  • John Williams is a musical genius.

  • Star Wars as a whole has the best soundtracks of any movies no debate.

  • No dude, Binary Sunset and Imperial March oh and Duel of the Fates alone are better than the whole lotr soundtrack. Star Wars is Americana, like baseball and popcorn with the movies. Lotr are great movies but Star Wars is simply the best, everyone likes it.

  • It's a classic that will live on long after this generation is gone. There is no debate on this. This movie will be remembered.

  • "This movie will be remembered". Tons of people were saying that back in May of 1980 right after they saw it when it was brand new. Thirty years later and it's still held in extremely high regard by countless organizations & critics and mind-numingly vast swaths of people. And it's not because of something like being brainwashed or paid off either. It's because it's something spontaneous and unique that strikes the right chords. Here's an \m/ to it being embraced for another thirty years.

  • @HattonJB23 it is a second "true" universe...at least for me.....

  • @vfgjhj I wouldn't call it better, for me sometimes I like LOTR better, and sometimes I feel like I like Star Wars music better. It just depends on my mood really. I don't know about you, but that is my take on it.

  • @rocketman5991 It's the best there is period, Star Wars has Yoda, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, R2D2, C-3PO, Chewbacca and sooo many more classic characters that everyone knows about. Lord of the Rings really doesn't to be honest, and the Star Wars soundtrack is the best soundtrack there is, I don't care what anyone says. Binary Sunset is the most surreal piece of movie music I've ever heard.

  • @vfgjhj

Plus, when most people have this argument, they don't know what the fuck they're talking about, lol.

Lord of the Rings isn't a film series, and it was never intended to be. It is an incredible piece of English literature that was adapted into a mediocre film series. LOTR as a story is probably more influential than Star Wars, but the films pale in comparison.

Star Wars does Lord of the Rings more justice than Peter Jackson's movies did.

  • 5:10 to 6:10 is the most beautiful piece of music I know.. it's just outstanding

  • Yep, totally agree.

  • agree.

  • It's best track!

  • 4:29 to 4:37 has to be the best version of the Imperial March in any star wars song.

  • Nice

  • Awesome. I love credit music.

  • Thank you for uploading man. I give your video 5 stars because its a nice soundtrack !

  • this is the best track from this episode!
