The problem about going to space is that we are so so slow, i mean the shit we have moves fast , but in terms of the size of the universe even the fast thing we know of ie light takes ages to really go any where. really for us to be safe we need to side a way to not go faster then the speed of light as there are some stars kind of near us, but really at least 10-30% of it, to do that going into space atm wont help us

You are forgetting how adjustable the human race is. For humans to get extint I believe the entire planet must be completely destroyed, a mere supervolcano or asteroid won't do the trick. We have hundreds of thousands of bomb shelters and underground systems around the would which with a little soil and seeds can probably sustain life for many years even if the surface is uninhabitable. We also have electricity, artificial heating and cooling, food and water purification technologies, etc.
