@drewlsy he has a chord cause when you go wireless telephones or things can interfere with the signal and using a chord would be easier to hook up to amps and just more secure so nothing would go wrong. Plus its 98 they didn't have the greatest wireless :P
i saw a comment that said cherone was shit live. me being a HUGE Extreme fan, think that cherone's voice was much better than Roth's and Hagar's combined. and he's so natural on stage. IMO, he only did VH justice.
Why does Eddie inisist on having a cord on his guitar when he could go wireless? I asked myself this, then immediately turned around and smirked to myself. He's probably a purist and thinks it sounds better, most likely it does.
@Gulldreggen I completely agree with what you're saying, and I don't think Gary is a bad singer at all, but he just doesn't sound right wirh VH in my opinion. I see what you mran now. So I'll blame Eddie. Never liked him anyway :)
@10blonde11 dont blaim gary. Eddie wrote the album. gary just sang the lyrics. If you are going to blaim anyone, blaim eddie or alex. They chose Gary. Gary didn't forced them to pick him. They had an album without a singer and he did them a favor, by saying yes.
Ok, rock star "posing" is silly enough to begin with... but this guy just takes to a ridiculous preening level. These type of antics would seem trite in a traveling preacher man's tent at a deep south county fair.
i liked this song but not much else from the album but you could tell cherone was in it for the music not the money he gave it 110% on this tour along with ed
Instead of "We Can Work It Out" by The Beatles, he should've substituted with "Carribean Amphibian" by Kermit the Frog on Sesame Street. I'll give it a standing ovation on that.
Would be cool to hear this song with Sammy singer.. This was my fav from the Cherone era...Still a great song either way in my opinion!!! No one was going to fill Dave or Sam's shoes!
I know I'm probably in the small minority here but I actually liked Gary Cherone in Van Halen. this song, one I want & dirty water are the best songs on the album imo.
i seen them on this tour and i love the show they put on and the 3 album was a good album if they did another one the y wood of got better i don't think they give it a good go well thats ed for u

I think that Eddie's solo on this video is one of his best, I really think is an excellent song.

I'd like to know what kind of drugs Eddie Van Halen was on when he decided to hire Gary Cherone.

This album had very little appreciation, I do not know why. I love this song and most of them, in the album. Gary did his job and did it well

I like the song but it just sounds to much Extreme instead of Van Halen. It's like Ed is trying to play like Nuno.

Note To Self:
If I ever get a chance to be the lead singer of a great rock band, do NOT wear a suit coat on stage singing.

i think this song would be much better if using sammy's voice. sammy has more than voice, he has charisma n attitude for big band like VH.
