Saw Richard Sinclair in my hometown Tilburg, The Netherlands in 1996 . He was playing in a pub. Actually.... we didn't know he was playing there. We just walked in and saw a band in the pub. After hearing 2 or 3 songs we said to each other: "hey, these guys are playing Caravan songs ".....During the break one of us had the nerves to asked the singer who he was. " Richard Sincliar " he replied. Hey... everybody deserves his 15 minutes of fame, right.
I love caravan, I went through a big phase of listening to their music about 15 years ago, and i always liked them but my tastes changed, and then recently I began to remember again how i really loved them..lovely keyboards with wahwah sound...very very underrated band...proper psychedelia
thanks for the trip back in time, this group is for real music lovers, man. I was the only teen in high school that dug this groups sound...I listened to it all the time...could not find it on napster...thanks again your a music lover
fantastica canzone. Un pezzo solo per veri intenditori, poche elette persone che ancora ora ricercano buona musica e non l'accozzaglia di suoni provenienti dai cd della moderna musica pop.....
This is from WDR German TV "Beat Club" 29 November 1969. See also Magic Man from same date, truely a gem. This should be made commercially available! Voiceprint where art thou?
All of the eight songs of the debut album are progg masterpieces, the best being 'Cecil Rons'. Pye Hastings and Richard Sinclair are amazing.

I LOVE the first two albums, the third simply annoys me. I haven't heard any other albums.

That is the only one that doesn't botherme actually. The rest are way too poppy for me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

@kub73158 It took me a few times to listen to until I could appreciate it. I think the first album is the best (I've heard) though
