  • Obviously, i dont live in the US nor have made this display, but the lights are definably not submersible in may cases, theres a big difference between waterproof and submersible. Putting these in water wont be pretty.

  • @andrewg112: You are correct. My floodlights are neither waterproof nor submersible- they are simply water resistant. I take *EXTREME* care ensure water cannot enter the housings or extension cords. I cannot stress enough that electricity and water are a dangerous mix. This project should only be undertaken by those who possess the knowledge to properly mitigate against water intrusion. Thank you for your comment.

  • Thanks for sharing your technical knowledge. My son likes to make water shows (see his video "4th of July Water and Light Show - You're a Grand Old Flag"), and your information is very helpful. Are the flood lights just regular outdoor floods, or are they special waterproof immersible lights?

  • Cool project, you'd make a good show host!

  • sweet!!!!!

  • to much time

  • Very cool. I'm going to do this for the next 4th. Buy the way, I noticed your patio balustrades and column. Where did you get those. I love em.
