see, i dont get when directors do that. i feel that if you are good enough to be thought in as a lead or supporting role for a callback, you should obviously be good enough for ensemble.
Jenna, sometimes the director is going for a particular look for the ensemble, or sound, and the person doesn't fit that look/sound. It isn't always a case of talent or skill that determines whether someone is ensemble or a lead/supporting role.

Those panniers look really uncomfortable... Your "someone has to burn" was really good. I thought some parts were a little too operatic for Marguerite, but I'm just used to the CD. The staging needed work, but just having the three main characters doing it was a really good idea!
I liked it. But the staging was kind of bad, though. But I did like your voices! Taking it that you were Margurite, you have a nice voice! You sound like this one girl I have on one of my boots. :)
I don't think the singers are bad! You guys did a good job with that song! It's different than the cd, but I think I like having just the 3 leads singing versus the whole cast. Is that 3-part harmony? Hard to do... Thanks!
