This whole "bailout" smells like a last minute looting of the treasury by Bush/Cheney for the rich because they know that Obama is going to win and they want to keep him from being able to give the people what they want, be it free health care or tax cuts. The biggest threat to Capitalism is any form of Socialism setting a good example. That's why it was great to label this bailout as "Socialism for the rich" right away. It freaked out the Republicans.
