If China wanted too, they could crush Taiwan and take the place over in a couple days while blockaiding the island from support. There is NOTHING the US/Japan can do about it either and our US military stragegist know it. On another note, the Taiwan military has so many Chinese spies that puts China even further ahead that it's pointless. In my opinion, it isn't worth protecting Taiwan. The economic advantage is to NOT get involved in this case.
Taiwan have many good peoples we need not to do anything irrational.
