I will try to keep this contrite. I will try and explain the want for the destruction of anonymity on the internet. The reason the face to name is wanted is for several different reasons. When people have to face what they say then what they say holds more personal responsibility. It's done everywhere, and in 99,99 % of cases the accusation is completely baseless, and the accuser has no idea what the word means or why he's using it. I totally understand and agree with you. For the longest time I wouldn't make any videos even though I wanted to because I am pretty incompetent in making videos other than direct webcam upload. Only recently have I made a single video on something that has been bothering me enough to finally just give up and show my face. I think the message is more important than what the person looks like, and can often times lead people to harass you simply because of how you look and not the message.

My experience with the "troll" label is that it's thrown at people that disagree. Funny, how people don't accuse others of being trolls if they repeatedly post "worship" comments. Repeatedly gushing over and over how much you love one youtuber's videos, or how smart, or beautiful they are is ok. But any negative comment makes you a troll. when i don't like someone's videos. It's not that I dislike them, It's just that once I lose respect for someone's opinions. I can't really watch their stuff anymore. The other point is: Many people that have lives, i.e. jobs and responsibilities, can not post their image and opinions in a video due to those very same jobs and responsibilities.
