For those still not sure how this works. It's a skill that has an on/off toggle, much like meditation. When it is on, loading an alchemy skill sometimes loads multiple charges. This activation rate varies from 10% for novice, to 30% for r1.
When it triggers, again depending on the rank, you have a random chance to get 1-4 additional charges. On Novice, you always, if it triggers, only get one additional charge. On r1 it's 55% +1, 20% +2, 15% +3, 10% +4.

Chaincasting alchemy, from what i see in the video, does the same thing as chaincasting magic. if you look closely while he's loading the skill, the number will be 2 for water cannon and 5 for the sand attack.
I'm assuming the greater the rank of the skill, the greater amount of chaincasts, and less sp taken to use it, since I'm also guessing the stamina needed is pretty high
@jesfest mmm i don't remember where i read this from, but i remember that chain casting in alchemy is random. With higher rank the more chance of cc more ea time
