In my opinion... My sennheiser hd205's are better than beats frequency wise...Beats are 20hz-20,000hz. sennheiser hd 205 are 14hz-20,000hz

And the best headphones are supposedly able to go under 15hz. there are some ultrasones I want that are 10hz-35,000hz

The human ear can barely hear notes that low/high. It's not how many notes the cans can reproduce it's how they reproduce them. That's what the beats excel in.

bose are definitely better. i dont have either but ive tried both and bose are 150$ cheaper and u dont need batteries. The sound quality is pretty much the same (they are both have rely awesome sound), although beats look better. BOSE are definetely more worth it, it just doesnt look as nice

I just got my beats home. Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, damn! These headphones are shit! If you listen to House, Techno, or Rap, you have got to get a pair. I listen mostly to jazz so I had to EQ the bass down and trip the high a smidgen. But damn, these headphone have bottom like you won't believe and they actually move air in your head!

The price is way up there but the sound is the shit!

hahahaha i have studio's and skullcandy titan for in ear. . .i USED to have the tour but i returned em because i thought they sucked. my titans were 40 bucks and rocked harder thatn the tours. but studios are AMAZING

ha i have em both, the tour(in ear)and studio they both bang hard as fuck..obviously the studio pair is the best of the best but you cant wear those EVERYWHERE..they do sound best for hip hop/r&b etc. but it makes any song sound new and improved. the earbud design is nice for working out, in school, etc. the bass is great in both! sure theyre overpriced but thats marketing for ya..get used to it! pay the price or stick with your shitty ipod earbuds and keep shellin out money for pair after pair.

skull crushers are garbage, really. Every skull candy product ive bought (3 pairs of headphones) the wires begin to split near the dongle and the sound quality is just not that good. Even my shitty sony mdr v300's sound better. Beats by dre sound damn amazing. you can try them at an apple store BUT nowhere near the $350 price tag. As they said before the mid towns and lows are evidently weak when compared to the highs. The base is terrific though but these are mostly for R&B, and syth music

Bose is shit. They have maybe 2 good sets of 'phones. Beats by Dre are overpriced. For way less, you could get some the HD 280 Pro if you want isolation; for less still, there's the ATH-A900; and for just a little less, you can build a CUSTOM Beyerdynamic Manufaktur set.
