been making music a while in fl studio, can't figure out a way to get a good sounding snare roll going between each loop like that for dnb. I can but i can't get it to sound right got any suggestions?

@broadcastmyass4u I'm not sure what to suggest. Experiment with chopped up loops and listen to the way those snare loops sound.

Hmm, I suppose just make sure they aren't too loud and find some good samples. Also, keeping them natural sounding can help sometimes but I guess it depends what sound you're going for. I'm not sure if this will help though, but I tried.

@broadcastmyass4u A real snare roll has different pitches and timbres from the drummer depending on where he hits the drum. It also has differences in velocity. As stated already if you can keep it sounding real. The best way to do this aside from having a drum set in your studio is to use BFD. They have fantastic acoustic sample sets and room settings to control reverb amount etc. If you are simply using a sample then use the bottom of the piano roll to vary velocity and pitch and quik quant
