This movie has perhaps the erliest picturization of song recording: "Avalukkenna, Azhagiya Mugam" starts with MSV conducting TMS and orchestra and then moves on to the sets. I do not know whether MSV-TMS part is a fake or the real thing, but it is memorable!

Nagesh is superb.I am going to stake my reputation on the line.

ShahRukh Khan definitely copies a lot of Great Nagesh's moves and mannerisms. Watch Bhama Vijayam dream song "kuru nahai enna kulu kuu muham". Nagesh is an accomplished dancer for that time of film development. Watch Server Sundaram "Avalukkenna" song. He performs superbly. Yes, hats off!
