  • its like '' FEEEEEED ME >:O

  • ouch, had my headphone volume maxed x.x

  • I have a female pearl, the best pet in the world.

  • That is too cute, I breed macaws, eclectus, and greys, I love it.

  • What an aweful racket, i had to mute it.

  • hes making coffee anyone for creamer?

  • cockatiels gronk worse than macaws

  • hahah its so cute. XD My bird did that all the time when i first got her hhehehe

  • lol feed that poor cute lil bird already :D.

  • COME ON!!!!1!!11 GIMM3 s0m3THING TO n0m ON!

  • boy, when you said screamed the entire time, you werent kidding!

  • pretty

  • lol, my baby cockatiel is just outgrowing the baby food so he doesn't make as much sound like that. Now he usually settles for his seeds.

  • How can you tell if a baby pearl is male or female?

  • @childsweethearts You can't really tell. Your best bet is to feel their pelvic bones.

  • aww thats funny ♥

  • my baby would do this, too! so precious. sadly, she passed away last night after a horrible accident. i was always so careful with her but she was very curious. she will be sorely missed. she was a treasure.

  • @nonfictionstory what happened?

  • as much as i love cockatiels, i have to admitt that as babies they make a terrible sound, like nails on a blackboard...

rainbow lorikeets on the other hand make an adorable sound when they're babies, anybody from australia should know...

  • That's the 'feed me' noise. Affects us the same as a babies cry to get attention does. Pretty effective huh.

When my Lori was a baby and she did the cry 'feed me' thing, it sounded like a lower pitch but also had a gutteral raaah, raaah, raaah thing going on. Combined with the fluffing up, the head bobbing and the big eyes, how can anyone argue with that!!

  • that sound would make an ideal alarm clock sound.

  • yep my baby's scream for food as soon as they see us

  • some young birds start screaming for food everytime they see his parents.

you could stuff them with every shit you can find. they would not stop to scream.

  • Why do thoughtless idiots like you refuse to read author's comments before bashing the author? THAT. IS. NOT. HIS. BIRD.

He said in an earlier comment that the breeder fed it reguarly, twice a day. IT WAS NOT STARVING.

How many times does it have to be said to you morons before you realize that cockatiel babies are extremely greedy and will cry even after being fed?!

Stop assuming animal cruelty every God-damned time you watch a video! Sheesh!

  • I just got a baby female like this one, and she does this all the time no matter how much I feed her. I think she just needs more attention than the males did, coz she stops when I cuddle her. So cute!

  • That's why she does it! She isn't hungry, she wants the cuddles!

  • And she gets them -_^

  • Gives her more reasons to scream. Want attention = scream. Let her grow up. Always give cuddles, but only when the bird is quiet and snuggly.

  • i remember when my lori was a baby, it was petrified of the outside world because when it was newborn, it fell out of its nest and was rescued by a big dog... but i assume mr. butler (my lori) though he wanted to eat him though... but anyway, whenever picked him up, he'd snuggle up nice and close and hide in my sleeves because he knew i would protect him, he was so beautiful... well, he still is...

  • It's a fantastic feeling isn't it. Birdie snuggles beat any other snuggle freely given by an animal.

My Sun Conure, Phoenix gives the best snuggles ever!

I had to leave my Rainbow Lori, Einstein, when I left home. Mum refused to let me take her with me. I miss blowing raspberries on her belly, she loved that!

What happened to the big dog? I love the name mr. butler, what made you choose that as a name for your lori?

  • well mum initially wanted to name him rhett (from the movie 'gone with the wind') but i thought that was gay so we called him by rhett's second name, butler...

oh an the big dog, nothing happened... the dog merely picked bulter up and dropped him on the door step, he did a wonderful thing... if she didn't do that then butler would've starved and died, now mr butler will be 3 this boxing day...

  • My adult cockatiel still makes that noise when he wants attention and loooove.

  • Good Lord, look at all the people bashing this poor guy. "FEED IT FEED IT U IDIOT FEED IT U DOUCEHBAG FEED IT YOU FUCKER" ...

Hey knuckleheads, IT'S NOT HIS BIRD! If you READ his note, dumari was visiting a breeder's place. It might've been fed already. Cockatiel babies are greedy and cry even when they're full; you can OVERFEED a baby cockatiel.

How about you all stop screaming "FEED IT U IDIOT" and learn to read before you comment?! Give dumari a break. He doesn't need your hating.

  • when they bop their head and make that grunt noise it means they want something to eat,

my baby ones sometimes do it after their feed to...

so their could be multiple reasons for it

  • my birds go crazy when i play this. :P

and this is only one baby, emagian (sp) 7 at the same time XD

  • holy crap

  • as they say, baby cockatiels are very greedy

  • wow... preety loud !!

  • i feel sorry for him :(

  • im so glad my arnie stopped this.

  • I love this video, it's on my favorites!

  • I love the fact that they have lil spikes and they dont know how to move them! ^^ so cute!

  • it reminds me of my bird that died this month tho it didn't look like this on and nice bird

  • aww. reminds me of my pearl when he was young.

  • Quick question. Are they always SCREEMING !!!or r they quiet and when they screem it's when they wasnt something

  • the little ones only scream like that when they are babies and hungry

  • Screw yourself "it", MORON

  • beautiful bird!

  • how come it seems like the babies are bigger than the adults?

  • because they're fatter. XD

  • Ha Ha not funny lowlife niobody

  • Hello from Romania,i have 10 days left to see what shows up from my 13 eggs,i hope 3 healty cockatiels.Enjoy also my videos.

  • What an adorable little baby!!! This video was taken over a year ago, so she is all grown up now.

  • oh..! cute little birdy <3

  • I absolutely adore this sweet little baby, but I feel so bad for it whn I see it and sooo want to feed it.

  • Poor Bird.

  • how did you breed your cockatiels and should a get a male for mine?i have a female and i read her books let her out of cage excerise her and play with her but she dont do cool stuff like the ones on youtube can anyone help plz respong

  • Females really don't talk like males. And you get the best results if you try teach them tricks when they are young.

  • Oh god I remember that noise sooo well especially at 3am in my ear!

  • u expect the person to regurgitate food down its esophagus, ew

  • it would be scary to all of a sudden hear this in the middle of the night! lol, cute! ^^

  • that birdy is so cute

  • I used to raise Cockatiels, but now I'm disabled and pretty much house bound. I have 10 birds, but I wanted to tell you how darling this video is and how much I like it. I watch it at least once or twice a week. God bless you and yours...

  • I have to tell you - I am disabled and am sitting in a chair the majority of the day and this is one of my favorite videos! Such a little darling baby looking all sweet and hungry! My heart melts ever time I see this. Thank you for it.

  • I just love this! Poor sweet little baby! He's hungry, feed him, momma! Seriously this little one just tugs at my heart strings.

  • Crikey. That's the sound my cockatiels make when they're MAD as hell. Sounds like a really badly behaved birdie there! Definitely prefer the softer cheeping of my Noisy Miners. They saw this and went all submissive trying to do the whole "it's okay, it's okay, please calm down" soft cheeping that they do.

  • That's just the sound baby cockatiels make when they're hungry :D

  • haha i have a pearl too. she freaked out when she heard this

  • She was about 1 month still being fed 2 times a day

  • poor thing how old is it and how much did he eat

  • The poor thing is hungry. How old is it?

  • That's so funny. My tiel was sitting here on the arm of my chair, getting all skinny and wide-eyed! LOL

  • Haha so was mine =P
