Farmers regularly pollute the groundwater much more than the 200,000miles of pipeline already in the ground in the U.S. Someone should tell them to trade their tractors in for a Ox and plow or stop using petroleum...hypocrites. What fuels their machines? What fertilizes their crops?
Robert Redford made a video against the XL pipeline, but there needs to be more. I honestly can't see anything stopping this pipeline from going forward. There's just too much money and unrestricted power involved. But I will be there November 6th encircling the White House, and hoping beyond all hope that for once someone in power will do the right thing.
Even though many neighbors get 350 & other relevant emails, they have said it meant more to hear about the last sit-in from me, so I'm putting Nov. 6 on the neighbrhood list serve.Personal persuasion matters; please talk , email, text. I don't want to lie down in front of bulldozers, so let's do all we can now.
newglobalorder is right. I've got a hunch that Obama is still going to approve XL construction. That is why I think we need to come up with a Plan B. What is our strategy to stop the construction once it's been approved? You heard that guy from NASA; it's "game over" for the climate if this gets the okay. If we're really serious about stopping global warming, then we CANNOT just accept the construction. We're going to have to go over there and PHYSICALLY stop those machines.
It seems that it is only a matter of time, before President Obama approves it. The only way to prevent it, is to let him, and the Democrats know, if the XL is approved, that they will lose your support to a third party/independent in 2012. If the Democrats are going to act like the Republicans, then what's the point in voting Democrat? Also, do you know any celebrities who are against this? If they were to make a video against it, it might help with public awareness/extra press coverage.

Sorry to off topic post, I love this movement and support it in every way.
What is the background song you used? I can't stop listening to it, its so heartfelt and fitting for the video.
