I think that Kelly's version is better. When Katy's singing in the beggining, it's so... strange >.< It's not that i don't like Katy, but this song doesn't go to her. Some songs like "Waking up in Vegas" are so much better for her. It's more a song for Kelly that for Katy.

Umm...... Katy ussually sounds atleast ok but in this she sounds kinda...... well to be honest it sounds like shes a drunk teenager (who doesnt sing well) at karaoke night.... This is not a competition. Katy Perry wrote this song with Glen Ballard in a failed album attempt with Island records, from which she was cut from in 2005 depsite songs like this one. Friendly with Kelly Clarkson, Clarkson bought the rights and used it on her latest album. Katy Perry of course hit it big in her own right with her second album with "Hot n Cold." Perry in this formal release sings it her own way, with a slightly lower vocal range but it still sounds good - I personally like both.
