  • Here's an idea, how about we let the people of the nation decide what the nation should believe instead of some 500 people in Congress deciding for us.

  • liberty has nothing to do with the usa intervening in to every hot spot on the globe...the people of iran will do what they want to do and what they feel is right for them regardless of what the USA says or does...also why dont you talk about how in 1953 the cia basically intervened in iran and well it did a lot of good didnt it...i guess we should keep doing the same crap that leads to this problem, at least that seems to be what you want ???

  • So I guess you advocate the State sending our poor minorities off to fight for the people of another nation? You will then suggest we use our social safety net to fund said war?

Lol, no wonder progressives are losing the youth of America. I can see a "New Right" movement happening as young people reshape the Republican party.

  • wRONg Paul is a communist douchebag.

  • Sadly, you are no friend of freedom or liberty. There is only the hope and my prayers that you will wake up one day and see the error of your ways.

  • All of your videos expose you as a collectivist. Not a free-market advocate. Therefore I consider you my enemy or foolish dupe of the left. Which is it?

Besides the fact that I disagree with your biased, incomplete and twisted political loyalties, you do have good skills at video production. Too bad you cannot see the errors of your ways and come over the side of freedom and liberty for the individual. True freedom is not without its problems but it beats your communist style collectivism!

  • Fuck this video! Ron Paul being the only one not woting for this resoultuion? That shows tremendous heart! He is probably the only congressman who isn't on the oil companies payroll. What they want is a regim change in Iran. A regim that doesn't support the nationalisation of the oil fields in the country Because that ain't profitable for the american oil companies. 30 years ago Iran had a horrible dictator which was heavily supported by the US because he let them harvest their oil. THIS IS BUL

  • Who the fuck made this video? Ron paul isn't FOR tyranni from dictators in Iran, he's of course for peace. But he knows that it the vote will lead to war / invasion aka killings of thousands of sivilians. And also, after what I've seen from the president in Iran, he's a good man and a man who isn't afraid to stand up for his meanings and sayings. For example, he said 9/11 was an inside job in an NATO/G20 meating or something.

  • Take down this smear campaign propaganda YOUTUBE!!! This kind of shit eats me up. Sorry..

  • It's a campaign for American liberty. He doesn't wish any harm to any other countrys. It's not our job to police them . We can't even run our own country.

  • LOL!! What a retarded and downright media propaganda smear video!! He voted to do nothing because he refuses to put rediculous sanctions on a country the U.S should not be policing. The U.S is not here to be fucking Superman and fly in to save the day whenever another country is in trouble. We worry about the U.S.A and our liberty and safety first and foremost. How bout instead of sticking our dick all up in Iran's business we seal up them boarders that the illegals seem 2 have little trouble

  • Isn't this why we're Iran's enemy now? Because of what happened in 1953. Because we can't stick our nose out of it's business. Because every time we do, we give them fodder for ammunition. The amount of ignorance that the maker of this video has is ineffable.

  • ohh my god the media is so so fucking biased !! how come they dont have youtube clips of Canada when it arrested and beaten up 900 protesters in the G20 summit ?

  • fuck you propaganda assholes, IRAN don;t believe theyr lies !!

  • Saying Ron Paul "supports Iran's brutal regime" is such an outrage twist on the truth. Ron Paul is saying the internal affairs of another nation are none of our business and to involve ourselves is a mistake. UnsavoryMen obviously has a bias agenda and is a massive TOOL.

  • Thanks for speaking out against Ron Paul!

  • Ron Paul at Iran Sanctions Debate on House Floor 12/15/09

    watch this video

  • Yeah, its totally Ron Paul's fault this is happening in Iran. PA-LEASE.

  • So Iran is the only brutal regime in the world? and Its our Job as the U.S. to act as world police and fix every country? Sure, because we are so powerful we should be able to nation build as many countries as we want at the same time.. Classic Neo Con propaganda.

  • It is for the people of Iran to decide what type of Government Iran has. Just as it is the American people to decide what type of government America has. Gingrich, netanyahoo and other brown shirts should take a look at themselves.

  • good to see next to nobody is supporting this video

  • Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty is for America! Liberty as defined by Americans for Americans. Telling others how to define and apply liberty (while simultaneously threatening to attack them if they don't) is naked imperialism. Besides, how does it help the Iranian dissidents to be backed by the ruling council of a country that openly discusses using nuclear weapons if Iran doesn't submit?

  • wow clever bunch here no one is buying these bull shit tactics anymore. people are becoming awaking good to see , still got plenty of sheep to wake up though. HR1207

  • Call me arrogant and selfish, but I'd much rather the money be spent on homeless and hungry jobless Americans than go to any other country.

  • that's basically what i said to everyone about this, i mean sure they have problems and could use help, but we have our own problems that we need to take care of before we worry about others

  • Every president of the USA for the last decades supported much more brutal regimes than Iran's. The entire politics in USA is corrupt and the government is criminal.

Don't just zoom in on Ron Paul here.

  • Who funds UnsavoryMen? Looks like a slick operation.

  • wow I hope things change in a hurry. Good work Ron Paul

  • "Ron Paul Backs Iran's Brutal Regime"

lol. You sure don't know what to invent to distract people from big issues.

    But congratulations with the idea.

I'm sure it's not easy to find ideas to try to discredit Ron Paul.

"We intend to scrutinize their past record for analysis to decipher their motives."

You have 30 years of voting record.. Did you find something interesting ? =)

  • Ron Paul is the only politician on the hill doing anything for the real citizens of this country. You are a fucking moron.

  • Ex-CIA operatives say this color revolution is a fraud.

Ron Paul also didn't want to give Rosa Parks a Congresional Medal, why make tax payers pay for it?

Ron took $100 of his own and asked Congress to pay for the Medal out of their own pockets, no one else pitched in.

  • Ron Paul has a not intervention policy which is more in line with our constitution. "Condeming" Iran on a piece of paper isn't an answer for anyone. Iran people should fight for freedom, but not for either of the puppet leaders that were up for election. Dr. Paul is one of the few standing up for freedom. I see why the ratings were disabled.

  • Why does the US continue to put our nose in the internal affairs of other nations? Iranian gov't officials have already denounced Mousavi's support in the US as proof that of US instigation; A 400million CIA operation to disrupt the gov't of Iran, that every Iranian knows of, giving Mousavi official support would galvanize Ahmadinejad's supporters that Mousavi is a US tool. The situation is nuanced, don't try to simplify it.

    /watch?v=GRwUZ-u6KFo

  • That train has long left the station. Ahmadinejad can no longer play that card.

  • our federal gov't has no business codemning the internal actions of another gov't. Where in the Constitution does it say that the gov't can do that? Also, condemning Iran is just one step closing to invading Iran in order to restore "peace" in that region.

  • We should have the CIA secretly cause a coup and install a puppet head of state and call him the Shaw of Iran. Make sure he is oppressive to the Iranian people but understanding to our needs so we get what we want. This is a proven strategy and works well in the Middle East. The more we can meddle in their lives the more they will love and respect us. If that does not work we can bomb the crap out of them.

We've been down this road before and hopefully we can learn from our mistakes.

  • Why should the US intervene in something it's not Constitutionally obligated or allowed to?

Do you seriously believe mainstream, large media network political positions are in our best interest?

    Your reasons are...?

Please reason before arriving at a conclusion.

  • your screen name fits...good luck getting anyone to believe this crap...waste of my time

  • I highly doubt Ron Paul DOESN'T sympathize with the Iranian people.

However, Paul is a non-interventionist. If you've followed Paul for a decent amount of time, you'd know it by know. He stands for OUR country above and before anybody else's.

Ron Paul is a representative of the 14th district in Texas not a representative of the Iranian people so he does vote for legislation that has no meaning and might simply be seen by a foreign government as US meddling in their affairs.

  • This guy is a political troll, just flag his videos for slander and get on with your lives. He must work for Obama.

  • The Iranian people were rioting, burning cars, destroying property, before the government quelled the 'protests'? The Propaganda smoke I am choking on it.

  • Do you work for Iranian regime ?

  • oh yea, anybody who thinks twice before endorsing the Iranian people must be an agent of Iran, right?

  • ........this is blatent disinfo. PLEASE post a video of RP saying he backs the "regime" of Iran??? SO because he doesn't want to get further involved in the middle-east, thinks we should mind our own business, and not dictate politicas in a country half way around the world....He backs the Iranian Regime......you sir, are very ignorant. And are a perfect canidate to be a talking head spinning lies on MSM or something'

  • You have very high production quality, which is perhaps suspicious, but I will take it at face value that you genuinely believe you have the truth.

However, I would strongly urge you to have the moral courage to look into the matters in which you are posting about. Dr. Paul's comments and reasoning for his opposition to the resoluion in question are well-publicized, and your message that he "Backs Iran's Brutal Regime" is dishonest.

  • Maybe Ron Paul just forgot to watch your slick one-sided videos?

  • Man, these comments here let me see hope for America, the American people and Ron Paul as a president in 2012. It seems that only the video poster does not understand what Ron Paul intended with his vote, but also doesn't understand what his message really is. I'm sure some of the commentors can provide the video poster with a reading list. I'll start:

A Foreign Policy of Freedom: Peace, Commerce, and Honest Friendship and The Revolution: A Manifesto. Best of luck and happy reading!

  • Ron Paul is a UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE, NOT a representative of the Iranian people.

    Quote:

"Of course I do not support attempts by foreign governments to suppress the democratic aspirations of their people, but when is the last time we condemned Saudi Arabia or Egypt or the many other countries where unlike in Iran there is no opportunity to exercise any substantial vote on political leadership? It seems our criticism is selective and applied when there are political points to be made."

  • You, sir, are an idiot.

  • Oh no! Ron Paul didn't cast a symbolic Yay vote for a meaningless resolution! Meanwhile, the rest of Congress can't wait to throw economic sanctions at Iran, because they so love "the Iranian people". This video and its poster are so moronic its breathtaking.

  • Ron Paul is for Liberty in OUR country. It is not our job to get involved in the affairs of other countries. George Washington warned us against the problems of tangling alliances overseas. Ron Paul really is the only person in Washington that votes on the basis of what the founding fathers would have wanted, rather than what his party wants.

  • The reason Dr. Paul voted against going after the people in Iran is because they are in Iran. The USA Government has no business telling any other country what to do. We are not the damn World Police!

  • Ron Paul is an American. We have to many problems in our own country to be worrying or involved in Iran. We cannot worry about every country in the world, but 405 of those so called representatives would like nothing more than to focus on Iran. Call us when you get your stuff together and we will go get a coke and eat a Big Mac.

  • I would like to see our congress pass a moral resolution in support of the people that want to practice free speech in the form of protest HERE in the States to overthrow our Soft Fascist Corporate State; THAT WILL BE THE DAY!! Worry about the splinter in another persons eye, until after you have removed the plank from our own. -Ancient Fucking Proverb

  • ....our Soft Fascist Corporate State...

So didnt you get a taste of what "corporate fascist state" actually looks and acts like from the news and pics from Iran in the past 10 days or so ?

  • Who gives a fuck about Iran? Its none of our business mate!

  • Khomeni of Iran will send you a thank you letter.

  • Khomeini is dead.

  • He will come alive from his grave to thank Ron Paul.

  • On the day of judgement maybe.

  • what do you think we can just ride in with our non existent military and save the fucking world? The only way they can change their country is through their own internal struggle. Have you not read any history books, that's how true lasting republics are born. Not through foreign pressure. What do you want us to do rule the world? feed everyone, give everyone money we don't have, house them. make the world a utopia? it's this childish world view that has gotten the u.s. to its current state.

  • cannot comment on the government in another country unless i were a citizen there..the people have voted, the U.S backed opposition has lost, C.I.A meddling there hoping 2 destabalize them..response to unsavory men

  • A nation should be concern to keep it´s liberty not the liberty of others. Keep in mind Iran has a long history of us intervention in it´s internal affairs, most known of all the 1972 event a CIA plot to take over the government of Iran.

  • Neither Nixon nor Nixon's philosophy is alive today and today is not 1972

  • Gold Standard still gone So I guess Nixon Philosophy is still in place since he removed it.

  • WHY do we need to get involved? WHY do we need ANOTHER Korea/Vietnam/Afgahnistan/Iraq!? Your nothing but a warmonger! How Ironic is it that you fight and create massive amounts of bloodshed and destruction in the name of keeping the peace! With this kind of foriegn policy, we are royaly screwed! Because of people like you, we are totally DOOMED as a country!

Keep your "Change," I'll support the TRUE Change that offers me FREEDOM and PEACE! Not SLAVERY and WAR!

  • When did Congress declare war on Iran ?

  • Look, Congress can condemn Iran all it wants, but they won't care. It'll actually help Ahmedenijad, since he can rally supporters to help fight against US Meddling. What do you advocate, if not War, to impose your will on Iran? This "condenmnation" of their actions that congress passed has closed off some of our best opportunities for diplomacy.

And again, why do we defend our ally Israel when they do the EXACT SAME THING, yet condemn Iran for it?

  • He will try to use anything regardless so there is no point keeping the silence.

  • I dont mind bombing Iran at all, or even a nuclear strike. The Evil regime should be finished altogether.

  • But our Allies Israel and Egypt are MUCH WORSE!!

If we are Morally Obliged to codemn Iran, we must also condemn our allies.

  • Yeah, that should solve the problem once and for all. DUMBASS!!!!!! get educated the theory of good intentions, and horrendous results. Who do you think created Al qaeda and Saddam. Holy shit you are ignorant man. I shouldn't be so harsh cause I have been there too. I'm just fed up. sorry

  • Do you REALLY believe we have the authority to impose Democracy on ANOTHER nation!? Do you believe we can win ANOTHER war without our economy collapsing further?!? You, sir, are a neocon! Every time we try to enforce our will accross seas, we look even worse in the eyes of our enemies! As for Paul being a "do nothing," WHY do you assume we need to do more?! You spend and spend, and when that doesn't work, you insist we are not spending enough!! WHAT is WRONG with you people?!

  • How come Resolution imposed democracy on some other nation ?

  • Why the heck do you Liberals and Conservatives obsess over Iran! They crack down on protesters once, and you instantly move to dehumanize them, but Israel and Egypt, two of America's Allies HAVE BEEN KILLING MUCH MORE NONVIOLENT PROTESTORS FOR A MUCH LONGER TIME!!! You are always quick to criticize our enemies, but you do nothing, NOTHING, to stand up for those that our oppressed by our "Allies," you blatently ignore it!! You disgust me!

  • Dr Paul is doing something to save us some "dime" by sponsoring the bill to audit the Fed. It's crazy, like getting your credit card bill and never checking on where your money went. What if you weren't allowed to see this record and some unauthorized spending was made? Thats essentially where we stand with the Fed. Stop squawking off baseless claims and ludicris propositions, hater. He's doing something with ramifications on billions if not trillions of dollars! you speak of irrellevant sums!

  • Iran is a sovereign nation. If what you mean by "obstructing condemnation," is "telling them what to do, or else" IS mettling in their affairs. This is a civil matter, not Team America World Police matter. We shouldn''t spend a dime on them because we don't have a dime to spend.

  • If you think the government does not have a dime left to spend may be you should ask Ron Paul to resign. Govt should not be wasting a dime on "do nothing" Congressman like Ron Paul.

If his whole point of being in a govt is to "do nothing" why is he in the govt in the first place ?

Save some dime by removing him from the govt payroll.

  • Unsavory, you are as your name implies and your slick youtube campaign smells of the same. You sound like a paid spinner or a complete douche-bag on your own. Paul goes to save us MONEY and FREEDOM, and our gov't wants to give it away. Think again. You are suspect.

  • another true "do nothing" was President Harding, Harding ran on a promise to "Return to Normalcy", a seldom-used term he popularized. The slogan called an end to the abnormal era of the Great War, along with a call to reflect three trends of his time: a renewed isolationism in reaction to the War, a resurgence of nativism, and a turning away from the government reform era. he was elected to combat the 1921 recession that was really bad at the time when compared to all previous downturns.

  • The National Bureau of Economic Research dates the 1921 recession from a general business peak in January 1920 to a trough in July 1921. The recession in the United States was brief relative to the Great Depression later that decade, but it included a very sharp price deflation. The decline in the GNP price deflator from 1920 to 1921 is the largest one-year percentage decline in the series in the more than 120 years covered.

  • Various estimates show that one-year deflation figures were 18 percent, 13.0 percent, and 14.8 percent, respectively. The closest comparator is the 11.5 percent deflation recorded for 1931-32, the third year of the Great Depression. Wholesale prices declined by 36.8 percent for 1920-21, the largest one-year decline on record, going back at least to the American Revolutionary War period.

  • The 1921 deflation contains another striking feature. Not only was it sharp, it was large relative to the accompanying decline in real product. The ratio of the percentage decline in the GNP deflator for 1920-21 to the percentage decline in real GNP was 2.6 using the Department of Commerce figures. By contrast, during 1929-30, the first year of the Great Depression the same ratio; When the GNP deflator declined by 2.7 percent and real GNP by 9.4 percent, for a ratio of 0.3.

  • The ratios of the percentage decline in GNP prices to the percentage decline in real GNP for 1930-31, 1931-32, 1932-33, and 1937-38, the other Great Depression years in which real GNP declined, were 1.0, 0.9, 1.2, and 0.3, respectively, all well below the 1920-21 figures of 2.6.

  • Deflation was so sharp, both in itself and in relation to the decline in real product, because the deflation was produced by a sharp decline in aggregate demand combined with an increase in aggregate supply, a supply increase in which deflationary expectations played a prominent role.

  • A buoyant expansion followed the severe contraction of bankrupt companies and industries of 1920-1921, no welfare or minimum wage, when 1 dollar could feed a family for a week. In the 22 months after the depression bottom, industrial production rose 63%, the money stock expanded by 14%, and wholesale prices rose by 9%. Net national product rose 23% in the corresponding two calendar years.

  • The recession of 1921-1923 proved to be the sharpest economic downturn since the emergence of the business cycle in the early 19th century, but it also was one of the shortest reversals. The recession was over in one year.

  • Economist Thomas Woods argues that President Harding's laissez faire economic policies during the 1920/21 recession, combined with a coordinated aggressive policy of rapid government downsizing, had a direct influence mostly through intentional non-influence on the rapid and widespread private-sector recovery

  • Woods argues that the massive 1921 recession and subsequent rapid recovery is an episode in the history of capitalism and economics that is woefully understudied. He believes it to be a watershed case proving that free markets adjust prices and supplies much more efficiently than any government coordinated action, and that Keynesian philosophy ignores the '21 episode because it suggests government intervention is not required in such "crises."

  • The 1921 recession/recovery could have been a model for recovery from the "Great Depression" one decade later, which proving that free markets adjust prices and supplies much more efficiently than any government coordinated action instead focused on massive government spending, trade tariffs, and price floors - rather than letting the markets quickly and efficiently adjust, then we had the booming twenties, again the credit by the FED led to another downturn.

  • "If his whole point of being in a govt is to "do nothing" why is he in the govt in the first place?" What so wrong with His so Called Do Nothing Policies that have a close resemblance to President Harding be wrong, What was wrong with this philosophy of limiting what government can create greatness. Every eliminated government jobs is a dollar Americans spend, every job they create is one Americans cant. Government jobs deal in reconciled cash thus don't contribute to the pot.

  • We have already seen what true zero regulation free market looks like. Just look at Derivatives Market. Not a single regulation to this date to exist to regulate Derivatives Market.

  • And the New cap trade derivatives will be better regulated, right. LTCM Long Term Capital management was a derivatives based company that was bailed out by the FED Alan Greenspan and Clinton a democrat who maybe had surpluses but raised the national debt. President Harding proves my point. Berni madoff followed every regulation and small business can't there is some terribly wrong with current regulation which are not being changed, just more regulations are being added on top of old reg.

  • Clinton also removed the glass stegall act introduced the separation of bank types according to their business (commercial and investment banking) like China which maintains a separation between commercial banking and the securities industries financial panic of 2008-9, support for maintaining China's separation of investment and commercial banking remains strong, democrats set the way for derivatives, republican got hooked like crack, and a few dems, with Denis Dem and Ron Gop fighting it all.

  • Wouldn't eliminating that market by reinstating that bill maybe be better then regulating, can America not live without it? how about regulating the FED? HR1207 especially since were about to hand over new regulator power

HR1207 is being blocked in the senate on a double standard that only seems to apply to Ron Pauls and like bills While this is happening in the house its still doesn't have a docket hearing after having 220 plus sponsors. pressuring RP 4 mayb a dispatch petition to force one

  • When I say HR1207 is being blocked on the Senate I mean it accompanying bill SR 604

  • The Government created derivatives, it made laws to support no regulation of its new market, used Franny and Freddie to take on US Banks debt and securities that otherwise Banks could not sell to other or amongst traders.

Government intervention created this unregulated Market not Free Market which is trying to bankrupt these people.

The closet thing economically the derivatives market resembles is a fascist economic policy of private and government intervention.

  • recycled* cash not reconciled cash; correction.

  • How eagerly some of us trust our mainstream media.

How easily the gullible are led into bloodshed.

Read up on the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.

    Remember WMD's.

Go to Iran and get yourself killed. But don't involve me or steal my money. Religious zealots don't want freedom or democracy, and that's not what we offer anyway. We can deliver neither. And our government doesn't plan to.

Ron Paul is the only member of congress who votes for me.

  • If you think Congress is stealing money from you VIA taxes. You should first ask Ron Paul to resign from Congress since it takes taxes to pay for his salary, health coverage and other benefits.

You can help your cause of making govt smaller by removing him from the govt (Congress is one of the three branches of govt.)

  • So. Logic is not your strong suit. Read the constitution and see how it is determined, just how many Representatives there are.

And it's not so much the taxes, it's the PRINTING of money to spend that is really destroying our economy.

Some day maybe you'll grow up and see the light.

  • So Iranian regime is printing US dollars...is that what you mean ? From where the hell did dollar got into this discussion ?

  • YOU brought up taxes while revealing your ignorance about Congress.

  • So by your logic we should have just the executive branch wipe the whole congress out. we don't need them at all. Wow, How about not hiring the 2 million census workers that will have to paid in tax dollars while were in the middle of a recession, and who knows how many of those 2 million could have contributed to creating production, jobs etc if they had to find work elsewhere and other such government jobs I just don't see how government can expand without Americans making money or jobs

  • Keep fighting for Americans Dr. Paul!

    Yeah!

  • iranian elections show the people voted ..the winner is being disputed..sounds like U.S meddling again

  • So you have great confidence on Iranian regime ?

  • wow, political statements and sexy models, he must be like 15

  • Sex and politics have always gone hand in hand do I need to point at a pile of evidence such as former Congressman Mark Foley, former senator Larry Craig, current senator David Vitter, current senator John ( Los Vegas) , former NY gov. Elliot Spitzer and current SC gov. Mark Standford

  • i bet you look at hustler too huh? haha, you are one of those nerds that pleads for women he can never have

  • haha, your gov't said nothing about the very brutal and more deadly crack down in burma......oh....but that one wasn't on the american news.....hmmmm......so are we supposed to denounce crack downs depending on if the media covers it or not? hmm........

  • Why not be honest and frank. Let everyone know Ron Paul does not support liberty of Iranian people.

  • "I rise in reluctant opposition to H Res 56, which condemns the Iranian government for its recent actions during the unrest in that country. While I never condone violence, much less the violence that governments are only too willing to mete out to their own citizens, (cont.)

  • "I am always very cautious about condemning the actions of governments overseas. As an elected member of the United States House of Representatives, I have always questioned our constitutional authority to sit in judgment of the actions of foreign governments of which we are not representatives."

    ~Ron Paul

He votes with his head, not his emotion to play to the little people like you that think the gov't should run on morals and feeeeeelings, it is a cute idea tho, i like feeeelings

  • So he basically canceled out his words with action. Dont condone the violence but condemn the condemnation of violence.

  • I know you may not get it, but, when Ron Paul retires from Congress, his voting record in regards to only voting for things where he has the constitutional mandate as defined by in plan English of article one section eight of the constitution will be 100%. He has a streak that he wants to keep up. Asking him to vote for non constitutional things is like asking a strict Mormon to chug a beer, it is not going to happen. If our govt stayed in the bounds of the constitution, we wouldnt be broke.

  • Put your support for the Iranian cause on youtube or twitter, you don't need a gov't to relay your feeeeeeelings, that is how we got medicare which is $34 tillion dollars sitting out there for us to chew on 20 years from now.......

  • haha, he is a champion of liberty, AMERICAN LIBERTY, haha, not world liberty......of course we could always bring liberty to people with bombs like in iraq......that worked out well! i guess you think it is america's job to bring liberty to the world?? how about if we get some liberty at home first!

  • haha you don't get it, i know you never will......it is not up to us to police the world and decide who runs what country, that is why we are hated in the region, b/c we have done just that since WWII. i guess you bought the line that they hate us b/c we are free huh? dumb ass

  • Understand what's going on with Iran and why the US/CIA helped overthrow their government in 1953... overall... weak video but cool effects at the start

  • Ron Paul practices what he preaches. No intervention in the internal affairs of other nations. What should he have done ? Lose all credibility for his stance on the subject of Foreign Policy ? Put down the kool-aid. Back way from the computer. Empty your pockets of all hallucinogens. Now repeat after me.....

"I will not post videos while I am tripping on LSD." Repeat.... Now, just keep repeating that yourself for the next 2 hrs & everything should workout just fine.

  • Any legislature anywhere in world has moral obligation to speak out against brutal crack down of people seeking liberty from dictatorial regimes.

Ron Paul should drop his "Campaign For Liberty" slogan and adopt more accurate "Campaign For Liberty For People In Only Selective Country"

  • Last time I checked... Ron Paul was an elected official of the Untied States of America.... not Iran. Ron Paul believes that Iran should take care of Iran. "Any legislature anywhere in world has moral obligation to speak out against brutal crack down of people seeking liberty from dictatorial regimes".... if you say so. I say it is a moral obligation to call out Congress, for even bringing up the resolution. Follow the founders advice. Dont Get Into the Internal Affairs of other Nations.

  • By that logic is the USA does something morally wrong who Judges us Americans, should other countries get to dictate what we do politically, socially, economically. Should the Chinese our creditors get to run our economic policy because they morally object publicly to our monetary policy. Or Russia Who continues to object to our foreign policy, let them decide because their government says so. From Iran perspective we do that. Their liberty fighters dont want US support to keep the peoples.

  • Also if Ron Paul voted yes it goes against every other vote he has took on foreign interventionism, I support him and by this channel a lot of people who left comment do too.

America was great not because it went about creating democracies; last time I read history it was a republic and didn't involve itself in foreign affairs and became a beacon of liberty, that people from all everywhere came to for liberty, Watch as generations start to leave America for prosperity.

  • I think my next door neighbor is being a dick to his kids.

Should I get everyone in the neighborhood to sign a petition to tell him to stop?

I can only quote the words of the bible for this issue

"Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye"

  • For the autor of this piece I can only dedicate one vid:

    watch?v=EyEEP2mKogg

  • Gee.... why have the ratings been disabled?

  • BTW everyone should use the reference stated by this braindead video poster to verify for themselves...

go to campainforliberty(.)com and cross reference as to obtain valid information.

dont just take this persons misguided viewpoint as fact.

  • im glad everyone is able to see past this tactic.

    the internet routes around stupidity.

  • very pathetic.. tell tale signs of ignorance working hard lol.. kinda like running in place.

  • Well that's one person the Iranian government won't use as anti-reform propaganda.

Honestly, do you listen to anyone from Iran? You do know it's a bad idea to look like America is supporting them, right? Fuck even Obama thought the resolution was retarded.

  • Typical retard-post by another illiterate pro-criminal republican.

  • v=d-6SHbjYWqA

  • The dude who made this video, like all Neocon chickenhawks and their media allies, would lose in a public debate against Ron Paul or any of his followers. So they make up shit. If you don't support Ron Paul, the US will collapse under the Federal Reserve banking dictatorship. Believe it or die

  • More Propaganda by idiotic people and yet another bullshit video of misinformation.

  • just because he didnt back legislation to condemn the regime, doesnt mean he supports the brutality of the regime. stop this propaganda.

  • Votes have consequences

  • Sure they do.

Good ones when coming from an informed, hard working citizen who takes pride in the values of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Bad ones when coming from people who mis-read things and preach lies like you do.

  • well if you look at what many iranian citizens have said and reported to the US media, they dont want the US to get involved. and their point is that if we were to support the protesters/ revolutionaries, then the iranian regime would use that against them saying that they are "puppets of the US". and they woulld probably lose support. you here are making assumptions about why he didnt support the legislation.

  • The militance and insanity of Iranian leaders has everything to do with us meddling in their affairs for the last 56 years buddy. Plus we can't afford to run our global empire with our collapsing dollar and mounting debt, even if you think we should.

The Founding Fathers were right about avoiding entangling alliances and when we get involved overseas, it is always for the benefit of corporations, private bankers and special interest groups.

  • The founding fathers were resoundingly in favor of imperialism. Thomas Jefferson hoped that all the Americas would be centrally controlled by Washington and spoke of invading Canada more than once. The founding fathers built America to be an imperialist polyarchy; whether or not they opposed overseas interventionism.

  • Especially when those from 56 - 36 years ago are now probably the same people who now are making policy decisions. As those born then and were of age were are always the next ruling generation, just as those now in Iraq will one day have the power too, what they do with it will because of their personal environment they lived through. Nice point @ Lyndehouse

  • UnsavoryMen is a lying piece of shit. He needs to REALLY write what Ron Paul said and did, but of course he won't because he i s liar.

    SHAME ON YOU!!

  • Also, will you grab a gun and go to Iran to fight for their independence from tyranny? If not, then shut up, and stop demanding our brave young men and woman in the armed forces go to fight to protect your sensibilities. Because thats what it is.

Also remember that when you tear down a foreign government, things like 9-11 happen. Of have you forgotten already?

  • Ok man... first off, you do know that if congress condemns irans actions, then we go to war with yet another country which will in turn lead to its rebuilding at our expense. And for what?

Iraq had its first shot at being a democratic country in 1912. By 1920, British gave up trying to keep them from in-fighting, and left. Today we face the same problems, and the same conclusion will be inevitable.

If Iran wants freedom, then she can fight for it. We did.

  • This video makes several mistakes in it's presentation. Firstly that Ahmadinejad is a Iran's 'dictator' when he is merely a show piece for the grand council and the supreme leader. Secondly that by not 'condeming' the violence Ron Paul was acting against liberty and 'obstructing condemnation of the brutal regime'. How is it Americas place to speak on this matter at all? We have no right getting involved in issues that do not concern us. It simply is not our place to demand. It never has been.

  • He didn't vote because it's not our place to "condemn" other countries, that would be meddling in other countries political affairs. Being American means peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations. That list doesn't include reprimands, bribes, or wars. Sorry, you can come back when you decide to be an American.

  • Lol it's a good thing you didn't allow ratings on this video! It would have minus 5 stars

  • You are allowed to comment, that should be good enough.

  • this video is clearly coming from someone who has never listened to the man speak. not just heard, but actually listened to his words and the meaning behind them. thats probably why this video is only 42 seconds and doesnt even attempt to explain itsself. it would be utterly and wholey wrong in its assumption.

  • You moron. Ron Paul does not want us getting tangled up in politics of other countries especially ones like Iran. The people hate us for meddling. If we release a statement as a country supporting one side or another its only going to shove our noses into the dispute. We need to stop meddling in affairs of other nations, the world would be better off in the long run.

  • Where's your proof?

  • You made a dumb ass video about his comments on the tobacco bill too. It is clear that you are trying to smear him by using editing that only an idiot would buy into. Its all war propaganda and he knows it. Most congressmen are gullible morons. You are either stupid or getting paid.

  • Comment removed

  • Ron Paul did not back Iran's ANYTHING. He is a non interventionist, meaning the people of Iran will have to handle their own revolution. When the U.S. intervenes, it only riles up the people who support the worst leaders in Iran. Our past intervention such as when we overthrew Mosadek in 1953, is why there is so much distrust of the U.S by many Iranians and why there has been so much blowback.

  • If you're going to attack Ron Paul you should attack the reasoning behind his vote.

    I like your editing though.

  • Ron Paul is simply rejecting this drumbeat to war with Iran. Why do you think American media plastured all of these bloody pictures of Iran all over the tv. Its called war propoganda people.

  • More:

"I have always questioned our constitutional authority to sit in judgment of the actions of foreign governments of which we are not representatives.... Of course I do not support attempts by foreign governments to suppress the democratic aspirations of their people, but when is the last time we condemned Saudi Arabia or Egypt ...? It seems our criticism is selective and applied when there are political points to be made.

  • Unsavorymen is a lying sack of shit.

this is what Ron Paul said in opposition to the Iran Resolution:

"I rise in reluctant opposition to H Res 560, which condemns the Iranian government for its recent actions during the unrest in that country. While I never condone violence, much less the violence that governments are only too willing to mete out to their own citizens, I am always very cautious about "condemning" the actions of governments overseas...."

  • Well, this was a waste of my time to watch some sack of shit's lies and distortions....

  • God bless you Ron Paul. Thank you for standing up for the liberty of americans, which is what you were elected to do. If you want to fight for Iranian liberty then I suggest you become an Iranian citizen or join independent organizations that fight for the liberty of Iran. The fact that Ron Paul wants to limit the power of the U.S. government over your life and property ($), prevents you from supporting this Iranian movement. Vote in more Ron Paul's and you'll be able to send more resources.

  • yes... just like iraq, lets demonize the leadership and then slaughter a million civilians that we claimed to liberate. are you fkn stupid?

how does it feel to be on the same side as john mccain? unreal.

  • Unless you are Ron Paul there there are not lot of people who would not demonize iranian leadership. By the way it was a non-binding resolution not a war spending bill

  • So the man didn't vote for a non-binding resolution. Non-binding, meaning worthless. Just another piece of paper that the Iranian Leadership can wave in front of the world and claim US interference.... brillant. Can you make this just a little tougher.... I'm getting bored.

  • I have to agree, this video was truly a study in liberal susceptibility to propaganda. Ahmadinejad is not a dictator, the evidence suggests that he did win the election by a landslide, and the "peaceful" protestors were violent. UnsavoryMen had better do some homework reading up on Iran, and take a look at Germanicus24 videos before making more judgements about the Iranian situation.

  • Did you read RP's speech on the floor? This non-binding resolution was de-facto meddling, and that is was only for political points.

Why, he asked, does the house not create a resolution that denounced Saudi Arabia and Egypt for not even having anything close to free elections or democracy? Hypocrites!!!

Ron Paul is right!!!! The best thing we can do is let the Iranian people decide their own fate. Besides, we have plenty of problems that we need to be dealing with here at home, first.

  • Well if Obama and co. were REALLY for Democracy, liberty, and all that political give-me-an-angel-halo stuff, they wouldn't be concentrating on Iran alone.

What the congress did was politics. Mere politics in order to gain political support or moral high ground.
