i think people loathe the curve tool coz its difficult to use on a laptop. like for me it took me like 40 mins to do one drawing on my laptop, compared to what i can do on a piece of paper freehand is like half the time.

@AngelJessica you can either click the red color, rightclick whatever color you want it to be after [so it's the secondary color, white makes most sense], then ctrl+ until its pretty big then right-click erase everything. OR you can invert colors, then go to attributes>colors>black&white. then invert and go back to colors. this second method erases everything but the black.

Personal, I like freehand better for MS Paint, However on Paint.net I used the curve tool moore often as it gives more freedom to move it.

Pus on paint, my curve tool doesn't work right. I'll click to start then it'll finish in the wrong spot and give me only one movment before starting a new.

@giana4598 when you record your clip, (with camstudio or hypercam) you place it in Wndows Movie Maker. You go to effects-speed up untill its as fast as you want it.

Now, please, don't take this the wrong way, but I have a tip for you. When you shade on the yellow shirts and stuff, it's best to make it a bit darker. Just a suggestion!:)

Not too sure if this is what you meant, but here is something from the description:

MS PAINT TRICKS USED;

Erasing only red pencil: Well, say you sketched in red, your background is white and lineart is in black. Choose RED as your forehand colour, and WHITE as your eraser colour. RIGHT CLICK the mouse, dragging it along the RED lines, and it should turn them WHITE without ruining your BLACK lineart.

I started using the curve tool for MS Paint after I watched one of Chii24's 'How I draw' vids ^-^ I must say, I can never be bothered to use it in Paint Shop Pro, 'cos it fuzzes and if you fill you get that nasty white space between the colour and the line V-V;

I must say, I never thought of using the eraser to shade. It's probably a damn sight easier!
