I think you should make a house down the road your home setting in case the unit is stolen with or with out the car! You didn't mention that when you want to save a place in favourites tap the car on the screen. I love my Garmin Nuvi 205 I find it much better than the Tomtom equivalent, for one it dims at night where you have to manually change the Tomtom screen at night.
