(Looks like Lewi's got some competition :P) in summer got a 5 Year old Black Welsh Sec D & he's getting on really well, however not got a School or a particularly good field to school in, so progress is slow.I've got him working comfortably with a nice relaxed neck & beautiful shape. He's not strong what so ever, and riding in fulmer single jointed snaffle. Any tips on how to encourage him to extend in trot and carry himself lighter? Thanks Xx
@milliesos I have a black section d gelding dylasau rhydian :) another girl got him from Alun, backed him but he was too much for them and they had to sell him to a dealer. I got him then as a 5 year old. Alun has a gorgeous palomino filly full sister to mine! You should get her!
@chachahorse Thats my Palomino filly now!!! Id never be able to buy her but iv told him NOT to put her in foal and NOT to sell her as i want her for my growing welsh cob show team haha. XXX Do you have facebook? Id love to see him.
Millie is gorgeous! I used to watch your videos and love both your horses and they really influenced my decision in buying my own horse and it turns out he's from the same stud as Millie! I really hope you read this maybe if I didn't watch your videos I wouldn't have my gorgeous boy :)
@chachahorse Thats great, that really is. What have you got from Alun? I have had Millie since she was 5 months old. I have a gelding in from the Dylasau stud for backing and selling. I have my eye on a colt foal but not aloud two colts arrrrr so i cant decided if i should geld my colt or just forget about the foal grrr
@nsu4 Thanks so much. I can really see this make taking me where i want to go in showing. If i hold her weight like this i think she will go far and hold her own in a class of 60+ mares. I have had some horrid comments this year out showing with Lewi. Saying his to slim to be shown inhand and ridden. Him and Millie are fed the same, infact Lewi gets more. He is just a slim horse where she is a very big girl. They like them massive and its just not right. Il never let millie get fatter than this

@MangoRoX87 Thanks. Lewi is doing great. He is fulffing up already and needs a clip. I dont think il do my trade mark playboy bunny this year as il not be doing so much work with him. I never got the colt i wanted as he was to much of a stallion and i think he would of been bad news if i had put him with Millie. Its my first colt to keep as a stallion so i thought id pass. He was bloody amazing and will go amazing in the right hands. Iv got a yearling colt now, called him casper. xxx

I was wondering if you could help me, in a few years Im getting a section D filly,I have a section D gelding atm from the fronarth stud but he's unregistered and too scarred to show :/ but anyway I wanted to do a bit of showing with my filly, and I was wondering what stud you think would be the best to get a filly from, whether you have any preferences and what you think is the best type of filly for showing thought id ask you cus you have experience!
@EP2504 waw you have a fronarth. I was getting a D colt whos sire was FRONARTH VICTOR. I would say the Dylasau stud. He has great stock and very very nice man. Hes down the road from me and thats where millie is from. I got her at 5 months old. I am getting a brood mare from Him after crimbo to back and show from him. Hes a very nice man. I would also say the Trofarth stud. They have had a great year showing and again are very nice. Llanidan (lewis stud) have around 70 foals this year!!
@XxmegahorseloverxX My right leg is a pain in the bum, i just cant keep it still. I feel like it flying around. Showing is even worse as am not used to riding in my show boots and they are mega slippy lol. Just try schooling with no stirups.
she's looking so gdd xx didnt she have somesort of leg thing or somin when she was younger how is it ? and love the jumps she clear them with air didnt she lol
@horseyjessey101 Yes she has Locking patellar. She used to lock her stiffles and i had to push her back to unlock them and it was a massive popping sound. Shes grown out of it now and i never had the op. When i horse sleeps standing up there is a little ligerment flips over and holds the leg still. In a horse like millie that little thing dosent flip back over and it locks and they have to pop it off them selfs. Shes 6 now and not locked for years
Out of all your welshies, I have gotta say Millie is my favourite!
