It's been a long time since I've seen this forgotten"Looney Tunes"movie cartoon..but I enjoy watching this cartoon.With Poor "Daffy"dealing with this mad scientist"Dr.Jerkyl"(AKA"Chloe"The Monster").
I got this on a VHS from a store called Earnst, which probably doesn't exist anymore. Since it's public domain I think pretty much anybody can put it on a DVD and sell it.
@sciencemile I don't think it's actually public domain yet... I know for just a photograph, you have to wait 50 years after the death of the photographer to be allowed to make a copy of a photo taken professionally... And I know it can be renewed post humously by family for example. So very unlikely that this is public domain.
3:22 Daffy's hat is green, but it's yellow in the reflection. Also, his neck is pink. At 4:16, his body disappears, which leaves just a floating head. Haha. Looks like that doctor scared away his hiccups and most of his body!!!
This cartoon is from a Daffy Duck VHS from Alpha Video. I got this at Goodwill today, but it did have the fake opening to it for some strange reason, the Star Classics VHS version had the 1943 WB "Merrie Melodies" intro as well as the closing, but on the other hand, it had the abstract 1967 W7 logo intro at the beginning with the original "Looney Tunes " theme played over it instead of the 1964-69 Bill Lava version. Weird.
@HomeoftheGoodGuys That's how majority of the 1967 redrawns were like, back in those days. Some were presented under the W7 titles like this cartoon here (did you notice no mention of Technicolor on this variant?), other reprints slapped on the WB Bullseye followed by the redrawn Looney Tunes card from said cartoon. I forget what those had at the end, but at least 2 or 3 had a redrawn version of the Guild Films closing left over.
Oooooh! The guy on the intercom was speaking pig latin! I never understood what he said on that part.

One reference point you may want to check out is Spike Jones' comic recording of the song "Chloe", subtitled "A Song of the Swamp."

Thanks so much! I've been searching for this episode for a very long time. It's the only episode I can remember from my childhood.
