@fabrimuch Lol Right, because that would make too much sense. And Silent Hill is all about the not making any sense. Maybe... there's some deep underlying meaning to the sexism. Like, the creators didn't feel loved enough as children or something. Because you know, everything means SOMETHING in Silent Hill.
@fabrimuch Only it usually ends up having a reverse effect, copying it too much. And good lord, Maria... Playing through SH2 right now, and she is just the most useless thing... I mean, Eileen had two casts on, and she still managed to do something. Maria just stands there in your way so you can run into her.
@RaeMelantha Well, as annoying as it was, it was for a reason though. James was supposed to protect her, and then completely fail at it. Kind of a repetition of what happened with Mary. To torture him, and make him feel helpless and desperate. As he leaves the hospital afterward, he is all sad and even says out loud that AGAIN he wasn't able to protect a woman.
But in Homecoming, there was no need for Elle to be so helpless. They could have given her a gun to at least do SOME fighting.
