  • For starters it sounds like a group home beat but damn... What if all the cats that were in the Video got a chance to rip it on the mic. Wow!

You know Nas would just thrown down to this beat.

  • I see my nigga Nas in the vidoe.ha ha

  • This shit is toooooo funky!!!

  • dj premier has always been a busy man with his works of mart production company. i mean i remember back in the nineties i would buy a album just because preemo mighta produced a joint or 2.

  • 0:15 is Raekwon I think... anyone know?

  • @Azures7 it's him

  • way better with premo beat

  • The record labels need to remaster and release all these old rap videos for clear viewing by the fans on DVD. Maybe when were all old as hell well see some Time Life commercials late at night advertising the set for like $39.99, ryt?....

  • @19Tube70 More like Blu-ray!

  • this is a ral cold remix... 631 631

  • i like the premier remix better

  • yo this was his last dope album

  • Reminds me of 'the question remains'.

  • We will never get this again from any artist, producer or label. The hunger and competition was fierce back then.

  • fuck the police

  • premo brung this remix like sick as phuk what a great beat

  • illll tune

  • I don't think Fat Joe ever had much. His best two songs--Success and Shit iz Real--were just good because of Preem"s beats. You or I or my grandma could have rapped over those tracks and they would sound good.

He did manage to have a long career, I'll give you that, but really it's more due to the fact that he'd put out singles with other good artists on them and then you'd deal with his verses through the rest of it.

I can't name one Fat Joe lyric that really stands out, ever...

  • word he aint all that. "think not then show what u got, but dont grab this makes this shits too hot" is a dope lyric tho

  • Flow jow was aight tho

    or joe the fat gangsta

    that shit was raw

  • Fat Joe is the most overrated rapper of all time. He did two good things in life: Shit IZ Real and this track, and the only good thing about either of them is the tracks. How that dude had a long rap career is a miracle of modern science.

  • In the early '90's he was legit, but since then he definitely has lowered his level. But then again, he's one of the only ones to have stayed popular throughout that time. So technically while other rappers may have stuck to good lyrics and good quality of music, this guy def had longevity in the business.

  • @slanukslanukslanuk true that son i co-sign

  • fat joe was mad in the 90's man, when the 2000 came he fucked himself up

  • Mad cameos.. Nas, Raekwon,Common, Showbiz, Big L, Big Pun, Diamond D,

  • where do u see big l?

  • 0:18 sitting in the middle

  • yeah, i was lookin on that and was thinking if that was L

  • Comment removed

  • raekwon is chillin in the video

  • that's right!!!! drugs IS the key to success

  • dam i love this beat

this is when fat joe was actualy cool

  • Was that common in the back at 0:49?

  • it was, common has somewhat of a feminem face, thats weird cuz he was almost a nobody back then, never figured he'd be hangin with nas and rae.

  • Yeah he didn't really get a breakthrough until Like Water, For Chocolate and later hooking up with Kanye. Still I see the connection. The Beatnuts produced heavily for Common & Fat Joe early on

  • damn, i guess money does fuck a nigga up

  • and foxy brown

  • pun from 2 46 to 2 53

  • Comment removed

  • premo is a fucking beast get off his jock. :)

  • Dj Premier=King

  • tight beat

  • still nice...!

  • man preemo could have chopped that better but it sounds like a throwaway beat for a throwaway m.c.

  • You gotta be kidding me yo this beat is ill as fuck straight grimy this is actually one of my favorite Preem beatz.

  • Well if you're comparing it to OC "My World" than i feel yah but still that was kinda harsh Joe was dope from 93-98.

  • its preemo even da G.O.A.T worse beats sound better than other prods. best beats! but u trippin this aint no throwaway mite hav been betta with another m.c maybe guru or Big L.

  • I agree Big L would be nastyyyy
