I love macs but I have encountered some problems like the speaker stops working or when I have to reset the internet. By the way I know macs are not meant for games but you can download bioshock, call of duty, vice city, lego batman, modern combat, plants vs zombies and star wars at the app store. PCs can also edit movies with windows movie maker and windows dvd maker which comes free with every pc.

Bought my very first iMac at Christmas and I'll never revert back to a PC again. My iMac has never been infected with viruses, never frozen or crashed and I have never had to download drivers to be able to watch films in any format. Apple forever!!

A lot of people that say my mac has never crashes have never even played a game on it, when does a pc crash if at all, when you are doing something other than web browsing/watching a movie. Playing the latest games. Also, if you actually manage to install the latest games/programs on a mac, You'll have to install the latest audio/video drivers too. If all you did on a pc was watch movies/listen to music, it never crashes either

I have done everything you can possibly do on a PC, and on a mac. I have games on my mac (proper ones, and from the App Store). Not once has a game caused problems on my mac, multiplayer is amazing and my mac is more than capable of playing games, and my mac isn't even one of the best specs.

The malware that does exist and that Sophos and Norton protect against are trojans - malware willingly downloaded, installed and executed with the user password - that you can only really find on pirated software. The way OS X is set up doesn't allow unauthorized programs from infecting the computer.

And in Windows the reason you get a BSOD or an error message is because either something happened with the hardware or you did something wrong. I agree that no system is too locked down but go look on google for mac viruses there are NONE apart from ones you need to install yourself after putting your system password in. End of the day OSX is way more secure and stable than Windows.

1. There are mac virus's.  Why do you think macs have anti-virus? If they didn't have any, they wouldn't need anti-virus. lmao.

2. It is easier to hack a mac than a pc. At a hacker convention last year, it took about 3 secs to hack and take complete control of a mac. While it took something like 30 seconds to hack windows 7. Windows has been at the whole anti-virus thing much longer, and therefore has fewer loopholes.
