Sorry! .....but at about 1:45 you can see she's clearly kicking a Double Bass petal with her left foot and switching up to the Top Hat Cymbal! Pure Skillz!!!

But this song isn't the best to really show her double bass skills and believe me has them!

She's played with some Brazilian Greats and they've all been thoroughly impressed! ;)

Let me explain: Double Bass Pedals are normally using one drum and are spread apart to make access to both Top Hat and the L Double Bass petal easier. It accomplishes same thing as two bass drums becuz it has two strikers.

Many videos on YouTube of Double Bass Petal Setups!

Timing should alternate perfectly, cuz you can't kick both at the same time w/ any benefits. It's the speed they're after, not louder. One petal one drum can't match the speed! :P

I expected a double bass to be two bass drums, so my confusion is still about the keyword "double bass" stuffed into the video title.

Research is showing me that the phrases "double bass" and "double pedal" each mean different things to musicians playing different instruments - and in this case, mean different things to musicians playing the same instrument - so I'm afraid confusion such as mine will persist.

I would like to add, that playing the double bass along with Hi-hat cymbals (like she does) is no easy task for the best of pro drummers! Let alone a young girl that in Brazil is now playing pro gigs with much respect from fellow drummers in the music industry.

Wrong! ..she just plays naturally and making faces while drumming or playing some instruments is a sign that they are completely relaxed with who they are are!

It's called being "EXPRESSIVE", when you play and many greats have been even more so than she is! :D She's fabulous and the best part is she knows it and plays with abandon of self consciousness!

At her age, that's the incredible part and I wish her all the best in all her PRO gigs and career she's now in! ;) Love her!
