say man, it just dawned on me last night the the valve cover breather shouldnt be fed into the charge pipe and it occured to me that thats what the mini air filter are for :P no one told me :D

if in fact there is a car with 700rwhp that is using the stock engine and stock tranny and stock differential like the video you are speaking of says....how long will that all last? It is simply a stunt to prove that it can be done....I bet he doesn't normally run the engine at that high level of boost...It is just ignorant to think that all the stock pieces are capable of being reliable at those power levels. If it was that easy everyone would be doing it.

It was lasting just fine until during a photo shoot the car blew a tire and smashed into a side wall, but the motor is still completely fine. Its all in the tune buddy

@norcalnorway its not that easy because its a crap load of money to do it. over 6k for the turbo kit, about 1500 for the standalone plus a tune. almst 8 k right there. not to mention install, fuel deliverhy, big brake kit, clutch.......a lot needs to be done. looking at atleast 12-15k for the whole job.

there is one here in MN but yes as you have said the stock diff has blown on it, and i think the engine and tranny would last much longer as well

I do have a hard time believing a stock f20c can make 700rwhp which means Its making about 730 to the crank. I seen a few s2k making close to that, and the motor is built. High compression+high boost=blown motor. Why is it that noone else has been able to accomplish this 700rwhp on stock s2k motor and prove it, seems fishy to me.

I don't know where hun6over is getting his information from but stock s2000 engines have a very high compression ratio of 11.1:1 so u can only run like 5 pounds of boost on a very small turbo and probably will only get like another 60 whp/and their not even forged pistons or connecting rods/forged crank shaft so I highly doubt stock blocks can make that kind of power without being fully built engines. go to yahoo click on autos then click on honda then click on s2000 then technical specs.

Stock S2000 engines can only run 5psi of boost? We have stock forged internals in S2000 engines...I added methanol injection for detonation suppression and I run 15psi at just under 500hp...on 11:1 compression. And that is the reliable power ha ha stock blocks can hold well over 600...yes even into the 700hp range...though I don't know how long that will last. It's all in the tune.

actually, the s2000 has forged aluminum crank rods and pistons from factory. and with a good tune it can handle a lot of power. it's all in the tune, it doesn't matter if it has a high compression ratio... no detonation... keep doing your research on yahoo.

omg its not a stock motor.... there is no possible way you can get 700whp out of a stock motor on these cars.. find the thread on s2ki where it shows his build... its a sleved/fully built block!! a stock motor would granade with that size turbo running 30psi with 11.1:1 compression

actually it is a stock motor with stock headgasket, reread the thread. He was having another block being built by GE, but the one that was in the black car that dynoed at 700+ whp was never opened 100% bone stock, he says so himself if you keep reading through the thread. There are also plenty of other F20's with 3mm headgasket but untouched block with 700 or more hp on Q16 race gas
