  • Hi Mody!

I think I've written to you already but just to be sure I'll write again. I know that Tysabri has definitely improved my condition and many others, and it has even helped people get out of their wheelchairs and walk on their own. I highly recommend it and I hope you can get Tysabri soon!!

    My best,

    Lauren

  • Hello Lauren.

I'm from chicago and also taking Tysabri for 24 infusions .and yes this Medication has giving me a second chance at life. I will see you in Boston in Sept with all the other advocates.

  • Hello!! Thank you for writing!! I can't wait to meet you in Boston! I'm so glad that Tysabri has given you a second chance as well. I feel so blessed!

    Looking forward to seeing you,

    Lauren

  • Hi Lauren-

I was also relieved when I was diagnosed with MS...I was thinking it was going to be a brain tumor. ( : I just got the results from my latest MRI...no spreading..yeah! ( : So far, so good, we'll hope it take 7 1/2 yrs for my 1st exacerbation! That would give me 6 more years, at least!! Good to hear your speech and story...great job.

Thanks and have a great day,

    Wilson

  • Hi Wilson! It's nice to hear someone else relate to feeling relieved with a diagnosis. Congratulations on no spreading!! Try to stay as stress-free as possible, and maybe you'll never have an exascerbation!

Thank you for writing! Have a great week :)

    Lauren

  • Sounds like the cameraman was enjoying dinner! LOL! :)

  • Hahah I know...my Dad was filming but he was sitting in the back of the room so you can hear everyones' silverware hitting their plates! Sorry about that :(

  • It's cool. I just cranked up the volume!

  • It's wonderful to see & hear that you're doing so well on TYSABRI. You are very pleasant to look at & talk so positively about your life. It's a bit difficult to hear you clearly though, because the microphone picks up a "resonance" and some of the distracting noises of people eating there & talking. You may wish to ask your videographer/sound recorder/boyfriend to sit a little closer to the front at your next speech...ok? TIA & best of luck to you & yours!

  • Thank you so much! And thank you for the advice - I will definitely remember that next time! I wish you the very best with everything!

  • I'm glad you highlighted positivity and relief hearing the diagnosis. I think this is a common sentiment felt by those who finally hear those words. It's hard for those to believe who have yet to be diagnosed, yet are experiencing the symptoms. It's absolutely true! Go girl! As always, amazing. You're a natural up on that stage! :)

  • Thank you so much for your encouraging words! I appreciate it more than you know. It was so nice hearing from you and I look forward to writing to you again!
