After he trained with Kisuke for the rescue of Rukia, he finally released Zangetsu, just to find out it is a "Permanent Release" Zanpactou, one that, once released, never goes back into it's sealed state.
@LordManda2 thats not true .. actually the zanpaktou he is using in this episode, only exists because he is still using rukia's powers.. during the training with urahara he finally obtains his own zanpaktou .. because of this murasama's power doesn't bring back the sword, he is fighting with in this episode. so zangetsu is a shikai only sword
@LordManda2 well it's a bit too long but i really liked the fact that you get some background information about everyones zanpaktou and the thing with kouga and his abilitys was also quite nice.. the last fight is nice as well.. but i dislike the episodes after muramasa .. where sword fiends are everywhere and it's just boring because you just want to see how ichigo pwns ulquiorra ^^ some people hate it just because it is a filler but i also liked the captain amagai filler. :D bleach ftw
@roadblock4eva I think it's Rukia's Zanpaktou. Remember in the first episode it got bigger because of Ichigo's intense spiritual pressure? He doesn't have Zangetsu yet at this point in the anime.

wat i hate about these stupid anime shows is, when the are dubbed for english, they cut some of hte best parts out of the show. but in the sub's they dont cut anything out, or in some show's like naruto shippuden, the subbed is longer than the dub, if you watch the first episode on the naruto's offical website, where its subbed, it will be longer than in english version, i think thats stupid, they should have all the parts in stead of taking some out, that pisses me off, missing good moments.
She can't be in Soul Society since only a Shinigami can show her the there. and she was killed by a hollow and cant pass over to Soul Society. Hollow or Arrancar im not really sure.

you're in for a long wait, not only is Bleach Dubbed on a seasonal break but when is does come back you gotta watch the whole "New Captain" filler arc b4 they return to the Arrancar Arc. Thats why I just started watching subs, dubs are just too frickin slow to release

you guys do know that "grand fisher' is dead, its pretty nostagically great if you haven't watched the ep or don't remember (spoiler i guess) ichigo's dad isshin (i think its spelled) is an ex-captain shinigami, and in the arrancar arc, fisher is an arrancar, and then this whole conversation between him and isshin go on, and isshin completely annihilates him in one swift blow, so thats just friggen awesome! if you type in "isshin arrancar" im pretty sure u can find the vid!!!

you're in for a long wait, not only is Bleach Dubbed on a seasonal break but when is does come back you gotta watch the whole "New Captain" filler arc b4 they return to the Arrancar Arc. Thats why I just started watching subs, dubs are just too frickin slow to release

completely true... but either way subs or dubs are fine with me. That whole captain arc was entertaining but when we got back to the main plot I almost completely forgot what was going on!
Either way, subs are really good though. I feel that it sounds more like their character in a way...

you guys do know that "grand fisher' is dead, its pretty nostagically great if you haven't watched the ep or don't remember (spoiler i guess) ichigo's dad isshin (i think its spelled) is an ex-captain shinigami, and in the arrancar arc, fisher is an arrancar, and then this whole conversation between him and isshin go on, and isshin completely annihilates him in one swift blow, so thats just friggen awesome! if you type in "isshin arrancar" im pretty sure u can find the vid!!!

three things:
1. ichigo said that he won't stop until grand fisher is dead but i think he completely forgot about that.

Ulquiorra was interested in her because of her unqiue abilities to essentially reverse time; he figured he'd be serving his master well (or maybe in the way that someone kisses their boss's ass at work) by handing her over to him, and wanted to keep a close eye on her in Las Noches to make sure that she is safe and sound for Aizen. However, at one point when Aizen revealed that he just needed her as bait to make the Winter War easier, Ulquiorra stated he doesn't care if she lives or dies anymore

Ichigo's the main character. Orihime isn't going to forget her love interest of years and years over a briefly lived (and now quite dead) villain.
