  • this also goes well with mind heist (inception music)

  • are shields just for show in these movies because not msny people use shields

  • @Smileyface64kl not everyone use shields. Gondor soldiers are famous for their shields though

  • What they ever say, I like this video.

  • noo pleas dont add this fucking music !!! i hate requiem for a dream !!

  • @darkmaxiron You can't handle the funeral song!

  • if not the ghosts of Aragorn minas tirith should had failed

  • @KAMIKAZEgr

It is said that Witch-king could not be brought down or something like that by the hands of a human, not male human. So when Merry stabbed him from the back he "brought him down", it has nothing to do with male or female human.

  • @Milanmg96

The prophecy has absolutely nothing to do with "human". Glorfindel states in Silmarillion "not by the hand of man will he fall", that's the prophecy. And once again, Merry is not the one who killed him, because he simply did NOT stab him anywhere fatally. Do not go by the movie, the original story is in the book. In the book Merry just hit him on the leg behind his knee, much like Froddo did on Weathertop. Eowyn was the one who killed him

  • Nice try, Sauron! Using your army of Uruk-Hais just to dislike the video!

  • @00666Metallica Sauron does not command the Uruk-Hai... Saruman does...

  • me cagas

  • The scence with legolas and the elephant here by proves that legolas is the most badass character is lord of the rings

  • @Smileyface64kl well at least hes the strongest

  • THis is the best book-based movie evahhh!

  • Within War is a War A war WE GET IS THE WAR WE WIN

  • Comment removed

  • if you got legolas and arragon and made the m fight each other legolas would win because if there is something we know about legolas is that he never misses.

  • you know what the army of the dead if they wanted to could take over all of middle earth

  • lol, my history teacher looks exactly like Samwise

  • if you have read the books and listen to the movie carefully you will hear him say no man can kill me now die meaning only a woman can kill him meaning where are all the chicks hiding like cowards he alone could trample the white city until the wemon decide to fight back but they hide but the chicks of there country know those who dont use swords still die by them so she fights to delay death

  • I like the music and the video, but I hate the part about a woman not being able to fight. That's pretty sexist, and it kind of ruined the video for me. Was that necessary?

  • @eduardculenisafagot they were goblins that were climbing on the walls :)

  • 1:19. one of the most epic soundtracks of all times.

  • why do the orcs need siege towers rams and ladders why didn't they just climb on the walls like they did in the first movie?

  • i don't like the music -.-

  • If you want to give credit to anyone for killing the witch king give it to merry

  • epic

  • Tolkien actually partly used Shakespeare's idea from Macbeth, the witches said Macbeth could not be killed by anyone born of woman, Macduff however was born through a Cesarean and was able to kill Macbeth

  • "no man can kill me" - The Witch king

now, this can and should mean that no humanoid (or at least no human) can, not just male, that's just stupid!

The Witch King is the coolest character in LOTR imo.

The whole thing is strange: the fastest and most logical way to destroy the ring would be to let Frodo fly on those eagles , then drop the ring in. But that wouldn't make for a good book or a movie, so logic has to be put aside.

and no, this is not a troll attempt, I mean it

  • @Fallerup

This is what the Witch-King says in the book and movie, the actual prophecy is thousands of years older. Quoting Glorfindel from The Silmarillion, right after the defeat of Angmar in Karn Dum:

"Do not pursue him! He will not return to these lands. Far off yet is his doom, and not by the hand of man will he fall."

  • Trolls in the video, trolls in the comments.

  • Elves are fricken beast

  • I love the anotes at 6:30 ^^

  • 8:02 like liek like like....<3

  • KAMIKAZEgr: it was Aragorn who fought the nazgul on weathertop, gondolf was captive to Sauromon at the time.

  • @dalpezzo13

Gandalf fought the Nazgul on Weathertop days before Aragorn and the hobbits reached it. They were still at the swamps and at night Frodo could see the blasts of light from afar and thought it was a distant storm. It's all in the book, check it out.

  • 6:58-the end are probably when it starts getting really badass... Especially Legolas singlehandedly taking down the oliphaunt.

  • its 12:00 noon here in chicago and now after watching this, im going to go kill the rest of the day watching lord of the rings. you sir, get my like.

  • @2shotkill i have) and i like it!

  • I just couldnt figure out WHY someone would dislike this abnormally epic edit! But then we got to 6:58 and I finally understood.. you should indeed not have done that but I forgive you because this is probably the first youtube video that gave me goosbumps for at least 6 minutes straight! Great job man!

  • i feel like slaughtering some orcs now

  • Comment removed

  • @gaddafikiller thanks :))

  • What is the name music played

  • @thematrix2100 its Prince Negaafellaga - Introduction (Feat.Starcrimes,A-Million)

and for the love of god,, download shazam.

  • amazing :X

  • Geez people know this like if it was real...

  • @Th0r1292 Because the ghosts had a treat with Argon, they'll just help him to destroy the boats.

  • You guys saying that Eowyn fighting the Witch-King is wrong, have probably never read the book and only depend on the mediocre movies that have left a million things out. This scene is probably one of the few faithful to the actual book ones in the entire movie trilogy. It is perfect that they let it be, there was a prophecy that the Witch-king would not fall by the hands of a male human and in the end it was fullfilled.

  • @KAMIKAZEgr

Only reason she could spank him was cause Mr hobbit spanked him with his sword, which caused him to go ina sort of coma which he only could be taken out of by The one true king of Gondor - > Aragorn same goes for Faramir

  • @Zeddicus111

Merry simply struck him on the leg, he injured him mildly, mainly because of the Numenorian sword he wielded. It was not a fatal blow. Frodo also dealt the same strike against him in Weathertop. Eowyn dealt the fatal blow. It was a prophecy. Aragorn would not take him down, he was a mortal man.

Have you ever read the books? The true story is in the books, not the movie, the movie is simply a visual cover.

  • @KAMIKAZEgr

Dude im talking about the books, Merry did hit the witchking giving eowyn the chance to blowhim to kingdom come. part of aragorn is about the gift every real king of Gondor has to cure the wounds of nazgul... as Faramir was "healed" just as Merry was being healed since his blow injured him ( merry badly ) dont worry ive read everything there is 2 read

  • @Zeddicus111

Errr... yeah... what does the healing power of Aragorn have to do with Eowyn being able to kill the Witchking?

The prophecy that the Witch-King would not fall by the hands of a man was made in the Silmarillion, not the Lord of the Rings books. It is right in the fall of Angmar, after the battles in Karn Dum. Both Merry and Eowynn matched the "criteria" for being able to kill the Witch-King and both struck him, but the fatal blow was given by Eowyn

  • @KAMIKAZEgr

So were agreeing...:P I just dont wanan give mad props to Eowyn

  • @Zeddicus111

Yeah, I don't disagree anywhere, I simply rejected some comments stating that Eowyn killing the Witchking was lame and that Aragorn should kill him instead. I don't like the far-fetched visual liberties the film producers took altering the actual events. Especially that scene with the Witch-King almost owning Gandalf was totally stupid. Gandalf was a Maiar, more or less an angel of the LOTR universe. He could smoke the Witch-King without sweating if he was allowed to by Eru.

  • @KAMIKAZEgr

Ouch that wasnt what i meant:P and yeh the gandalf staff part is retarded:P

Well im not sure if he could simply smoke him...

  • @Zeddicus111

The Witch-King is very powerful, no denying that. But the power of the Istari is... unimaginable if unleashed. Gandalf is basically an angel incarnated, but he is not allowed to use full force to defeat evil, he has orders to rally the inhabitants of Middle-Earth to battle instead. Once he returns to life as Gandalf the White, he's practiacally the 2nd most powerful creature in Middle Earth after Sauron (with the Balrog defeated and Saruman fallen from grace).

  • @KAMIKAZEgr I was going to say, in Tolkien's mythology, isn't Gandalf basically a servant of God?

  • @Halo4Lyf

He's a Maiar,a form of lesser angel. The Maiar are subordinates of the Valar, who are higher angelic beings, or lesser divinities. So yes, doing the math, he's basically a divine servant of the world creator (Eru Iluvatar). He and the other 4 Istari (Saruman, Radagast and the two blue wizards) are more or less angels incarnated as elder wizards, but they are forbidden from using force to drastically bring evil down. They have to rally and help the inhabitants of Middle Earth instead

  • @KAMIKAZEgr Plus, in the books, it was Eru Himself who chose to bring Gandalf back to life (as He was the only one who could have). So in a way he was more than a Maiar.... he was 'hand picked' by God... to marshal the men of middle-earth...

  • @Zaeffer

I totally agree but that doesn't change the fact that Gandalf (Mithrandir) was a Maiar, not anything higher. All 5 Istari were Maiar, with Saruman (Curunir) being the most powerful one and their leader. After Saruman is compromised by the dark side, he is corrupted and his powers wane greatly, whereas Gandalf is sent back by Eru, with much more advanced powers (essentially he takes the place of Saruman). Gandalf in the book says "In a way, I AM Saruman now" when Aragorn meets him.

  • The Nazgul aren't really all that. They are effective against mortal men, but there are forces in Middle Earth far higher than them in terms of power. The Nazgul are simply ghosts, wraiths of mortal men bound to life by the will of Sauron. Gandalf battled 5 of them alone in Weathertop and managed to fend them off. The scene in the movie where the Witch-King throws Gandalf off the horse and breaks his staff is BS and non-existant in the book. Gandalf could mop the floor with the Nazgul any day.

  • @KAMIKAZEgr Mediocre? It`s of the movies ever. Even the Tolkien experts thinks so! You on the other hand are a youtube troll.

  • @piyte

Thank you mr. troll. I've yet to meet a Tolkien expert who hasn't bashed the trilogy for the often-extreme liberties its producers have taken. It's a good movie, a great one, but a lot of things could have been avoided in order for it to be a really good LOTR movie adaptation

  • @KAMIKAZEgr Am I to understand that you are implying that Peter Jackson did not do the best possible? Because from my stand point I am to believe that he did an impressive job. The point is that he may have left a million things out, but the books had a BILLION things in them.

  • @RiptarDominator

No, Peter Jackson did a splendid job, what I'm saying is that certain elements SHOULD NOT have been left out while other things shown in the movie SHOULD NOT have been there in the first place. The example I usually give is that moronic scene with the Witch-King throwing Gandalf off the horse and breaking his staff. It doesn't exist in the book and symbolically it is utterly false. Gandalf is several times more powerful than the Witch-King.

    There are many more examples.

  • @KAMIKAZEgr and to that I do agree. Gandalf is much stronger than the Witch-King. Though for a movie to be successful, you MUST add elements that cause the character's to seem weaker... Now, yes Gandalf had already been beaten by Saruman, but for the rest of the movie, it had appeared that Gandalf was the second most powerful (next to Sauron). So, in order for the movie to succeed, Peter Jackson had to make Gandalf seem weaker, though he is not in the books.

  • @KAMIKAZEgr Yep thats really true. Movies were really great but should read the paperback version of the Trilogy. Much better than movie

  • @JordoZombie Or hard back for that matter.

  • @KAMIKAZEgr as far as can recall, the main reason that kills the witchking is the blade sticked by merry, since that blade was given to the hobbits by tom bombadil. and these were he very blades that killed the original king before becoming the nazgul... or something like that. and the prophecy "no man (human) could kill the witchking of angmar" was fulfilled because merry -a hobbit- killed him.

  • @fatihcam13 exactly

  • @fatihcam13

Merry did NOT kill the Witch-King. In the book he struck him on the leg, causing him a minor injury, just like Froddo did on Weathertop. The one that killed him was Eowyn.

BTW, the "origina king" was never killed before becoming the nazgul.... he became the nazgul by being enslaved by one of the 9 rings of power that Sauron gave him. The Witch-King's origins go far before the events of Angmar and as Tolkien states, he is likely of Numenorian descent

  • i do agree that they shouldnt of had her fight the witch king, i was expecting legolas, gimli, or aragorn to have a big battle with him and then she just stabs him once in the face?? kill the movie not this video...

  • I loved the opinion.

  • Plz i want this music :(

  • God damn it!! I hate it when people mute the video and replace it with this song! I hate it I hate it I hate it

  • @Stride278 You didnt read the title did you?

  • @MrAqwluukrocklobster not gonna lie friend, i did not :p i was watching it on my ipod an d it didnt show the full name

  • @Stride278 hahaha :P

  • 2:46 O.o special scene ? i cant remember this moment

  • because he did not get the sword till one day before the battle then he had to find the ghost then convince them to fight then he had to overthrow the corsairs and get get there boats to minas tirth

  • it perfect !!!

  • @feeltheglow Blades can be surprisingly sharp. It's not all about size. She did hack at it like 3 times. It's also not that dense. Humans can be cut in half pretty easily (demented thought, but true)

  • @flame0731 They can't be cut in half easily, they can be cut easily, but not cut in half. I don't know of many things that can cut a human in half if held by another human.

  • @14Schofield Samurai sword.

  • .AWESOME.

  • at 5:47 to 6:00 what a good wast of good horsemen

  • @feeltheglow

The neck shearing looked bad to me at first, until you try to reconcile the body weight of a flying lizard with its tiny wingspan.

Obviously the beast has a very low body density.

Prolly filled with tapioca pudding in my opinion.

The scales are made of polystyrene.

Might even be some freakish helium filled puffer fish cousin.

  • Re: 6:58, not every 15 year old grows up so fast, mentally speaking.

Looks like you had a trial by fire/youtube comments. :)

  • I agree in Glorfindel's prophecy that no man can destroy the witch king! No MAN did, NOR DID ANY woMAN, a hobbit did, MERRY, with his magic blade given to him by Galadriel, Eowen's bravery and strength of will stood up against the might and fear insprireing force of the witch king and through their fight gave merridoc the opportunity to strike the witch king from behind. FOR GOD SAKE READ THE FKING BOOKS YOU IDIOTS :p

  • @TheAlaunos Really? Merry killed the witch-king? That's such a relief, since I didn't really like Eowyn that much. I'm reading Return of the King right now. :)

  • @teamEdwardrulez01 no merry helped. he did save Eowyn but she finished him.

  • @ettinger1231 Yeah I just read that part. =) Thanks

  • Not gonna lie, i think that text you put in is fuckin funny

  • Look, I know you've already posted the note, but in the book, Glorfindel's prophecy states that 'not by the hand of man he will fall' - so it's gotta be a chick or someone not even of mankind anymore. I'm fifteen, I read the book XP

  • Gandalf should have beat the witch king, not a girl. gotta be kiddin me

  • WOW... JUST WOW

65 PEOPLE DONT KNOW HOW TO ENJOY GREAT MOVIES

  • @Thor1292 Because the ghosts arrives a bit later if im right :D

  • @Thor1292 Because its a FILM!!!

  • @Thor1292 bc they didnt know they had them

  • @Thor1292 The "Ghosts" as you call them, are called the army of the dead/ and they didn't get there till the middle of the battle

  • @Thor1292 because when the battle started the ghost werent on their said!

  • @Thor1292 they needed to get there first :P

  • @Thor1292 watch the movie, then you'll know.

  • @Thor1292 because the gost must clean the "plague"

  • No chick could beat the witch king? Really? I know you already posted a note in the upper left but I mean even at 15 common. Now excuse. What make a man any more capable to take on an immortal?

  • @flame0731 Men can fight outside the kitchen.

  • @ghadlan Except women can fight and cook. Men wouldn't have anything to eat because they are too pathetic

  • @ghadlan Obviously so can women idiot.

  • thumbs up if you think bullshit is hot.

  • 4:49 riding like a beast.

  • at 2:20 its epic so well timed..i cummed :D

  • God I hate this OVER and OvER OVER-RATED track. And you put this into a LOTR clip. ah...

  • @JanB56 Requiem for a Dream is fucking amazing!

  • @flame0731 Totally agree! This tune is awesome! And the film ain't so bad either :P

  • @cgopie1 Oh I know lol. Honestly though this song makes it that much more epic.

  • @AmonTheDigimon Yeah i know lol , but listen clearly , the ones i've listened to dont contain the violin parts , and some pano parts at the beginning . Hahas , thanks . Anyone can provide a link to the actual version of requeim that sounds like this ? :]

  • Place where you have "bullshit" is one of the best scenes in the film. Prophecy was that no man could kill him. Thus, Eowyn says "I am no man!"

  • Excuse me , but what version of Requiem for a dream is this ? It sounds more unique than the others I've heard . [:

  • @jojox3rxql thats because its mixed with the original soundtrack and sounds of the movie
