whats great about beck is that hes original , his sound. the way he plays , his sound and style is distinct, always know who it is just by sound, dudes just good... and i like yngwie, greg howe , lynch, , satch, u gotta give it up for this old fucker though, i remember buying blow by blow 8 track at like 15 and it was old then, but i prob played it as much as yngwies ..rising force, alot to be learned from jeff beck
@badhorsee If you ever run across an album called "Guitar Boogie #3" (i think it's #3) buy it. If compares the styles of Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page from the early days. You can really hear each of their specific styles.
I've listened to this album a hundred or more times! There are a lot of guitar players I appreciate and admire, but the tunes, and Jeff's playing on the album are very, very special. Guitar players interested in blues, rock, fusion should hear/own this album.
thanks for posting this, maybe u could post one like this of constipated duck, all of the videos for that tune are covers and live, which mean low quality,YOURS SOUNDS GREAT THOUGH GOOD JOB AND THANKS
@MrBeatlesCovers talking of ducks, why does Donald feel the need to wrap his nether regions in a towel after he gets out of a bath:? For the most part, he's happy exposing his chuff to all and sundry. Is it a Disney irony or something?
@benmarvin57 ,,,,,,,,,,yeah what he said! constipated duck i believe is the only track no one has posted from 'blow by blow'. its a shame, sorry guys covers suck. you can keep em.
@tomcat13claws - Really, or is that aid with tongue firmly in cheek? I think his touch on the guitar is amazing. The tone of the guitar is as good as his playing too. You can clearly hear him switching between pickups and getting the different tones out of them. One of my favorite instrumentals ever to feature the electric geetar...
@MOSKII58 Beck is great. The playing here is great. McCartney's song itself is great. His interpretation here isn't great. Great playing does not equate to a great song. It's elevator music
@genericgeorge lol elevator music.. you're a funny guy - i'll quote AxisofJustice21 here: "a couple million real musicians would disagree w/ your statement.. Beck's Blow by Blow is highly regarded as a masterpiece and Jeff is a guitar- icon one of the world's best..so if that's all you can say i cannot take you as a serious person/musician.
beck decided to not use a talk box bagpipe colostomy bag after he heard peter frampton...

Excuse me? This song sucks?
This is pure genius. Tone, structure, technique. Every guitarist kills for those tools.
Beck was a master of the guitar. If you don't like him or this song, kindly fuck off.

@Ozzman1369 He's a great, great player - no doubt. I hate the reggae feel. I just think this song could rock a lot more--He could have done better.
