Yesterday I thought about joining because I REALLY felt like there was something I wanted to tell these 2 college football players (not as crazy as it may sound) I quickly realized I was becoming obsessed w/going to one of their pages and lost my focus, I'm glad I haven't joined. You know, I think that God places boundaries in our lives that we must evaluate and ask Him to show us why we aren't to do certain things (things that are not listed in the Word). A minister, whose council my husband and I trust, told us that sometimes the sin is not what is done...but it's the motive. If you joining Twitter is being done for a bad motive, then no, you shouldn't join. However, if you are going to glorify God and be mindful of tweets then go for it.

Mignondee, it's heart warming to hear you appreciate our Creator, His Son & His Word & desire to live by it and do things His way, rather than try to twist it to suit ourselves going along w/what's popular. Just today at my Sunday meeting we were encouraged to really apply Matthew 6:33 & examine the scriptures for ourselves (Acts 17:11). I look forward to the time when all will serve God unitedly, until then, I so appreciate His patience & mercy in allowing us time (2 Peter Chapter 3).

I have been studying the book of Acts w/ my hubby and am really enjoying it.
