What American car companies do that no European (and no one else) do is putting ridicusly big gasconsuming sweet-sounding engins into cars, giving them sick performance with the crapiest quality in the world. What BMW have done is an exelent mix of fuel effectivity, quality and looks. Ofcourse, good engenering costs, but on the other hand it stays in one piece for more than 2 years as well. So if you want a cheep muscle SUV, buy a Jeep. If you want something that you can live with, buy European

again, a BMW offers more then a z06 ever will, and it has a higher top speed. More luxury, and safety. Corvettes are made of fiber glass, try getting into an accident with that and see what happens lol. Absolutely shitty interior and poor quality. And your car's hardly come close to a BMW. I'll choose the cheapest 3 series over anything you have. Luckily i have an 06 x5 4.8is, an 08 535xi with a dinan stage 2 ecu and exhaust, an 03 e55amg Merc, and my x6 m on the way :)

It's funny because you are so wrong, you claim that the jeep str8 goes 0 to 60mph in 4.5 sec but edmunds inside line tested it at 4.7 sec which is SLOWER then the x5m not to mention the jeeps crap handling edmunds tested it at 61.9mph through the slalom, it's got to a stage where the volvo xc60 can out handle the jeep (went though at 65.1mph) btw did I mention that thats a volvo? hahaha although i do admit that the volvo was faster then the audi Q5 and bmw x3 in every aspect of the testing

I know, i have an x5 4.8is that i wouldnt take through a puddle hahaha, but i also have a cayenne s in Greece which is amazing when its off road, however, nothing matches the performance on the road, but come on now, techart? Were talking M division, AMG, Porsche Turbo, and for the price of a tech art magnum i'll take this any day, just wait till Dinan releases a few mods for this beast. They took the 335i and added 100hp 137 lbs trq with a chip and exhaust, with 4 year warranty, but this? who!

however as a Porsche fanboy i have no choice but to argue with you :P

so, each time I see a Cayenne and X5, they come out roghly the same (the lap times etc).

admittedly the porsche is always that bit more powerful (not much though).

but what I truly admire about the Cayenne Turbo S is that despite the very impressive performance (it IS impressive though) it doesn't ditch the off-road performance as ML63 did.

X5 is also impressive.buttheX6isA joke

I will say that at first glance the x6 looked horrible, but once i saw it in person and drove it, WOW. The cayenne is a great vehicle, i have not driven the turbo s, but i did drive the turbo with a chip upgrade through porsche, which i think later became the turbo s, so not sure, but that was the closest i felt being next to my x5, more power, but same handling, I honestly think that mercedes doesn't come close to either of these makes, i've driven the ml63, fast, but just not for me.

Lol! i agree, i'm not risking it hahaha, i have a few friends with cayenne's, one has the old turbo s, the other has the new one, they are very nice! I am not too crazy about the new x5 look though, i actually prefer mine, but the x6 m will avenge me and help me beat my cayyene turbo friends hahahaha. Of course this means porsche will introduce something even crazier for the next models to come. The only thing i don't like about the porsche is the wooshing sound of the turbo's, kinda annoying.
