Parents should ensure that the AMA is not something their children watch from here on out. Actually, he has nothing to worry about since nobody watched it, or really gave a shit about what he did or did not do on stage. Black, white, straight, gay, lesbian, or zigzag; I for one am not insulted at ALL because I did not watch it. Adam Lambert is a second rate performer like most of the no-talent ass clowns on American Idol. Some people do not have record deals for a reason.

Everyone who says that Adam Lambert is not talented is obviously deaf. Before he came out, everyone loved him, but now that he is an openly gay performer, and expresses himself as such, assholes like Elisabeth Hasslebeck, sasys that he is being sexual, because he has to to sell records. I may not agree with a single word that Elizabeth says, but she is by no means a moron. She is very good at defending her own thoughts and opinions, she gives the other women equal say to argue with her, and unlike most conservative speakers, she doesn't resort to insults, hateful comments, and retort. I find it rather abhorrent that most people equate having a contrasting viewpoint as being an idiot.

Looks like Adam was all about getting ratings with "shock value". I like most kinds of music but the song might be ok for a dance club but I would not want any of my children to see this video. Parents should ensure that the AMA is not something their children watch from here on out. It is unfortuante but with so many "award" shows, they want the "shock" on their show so they get ratings also. Do we really want to move toward the debauchery of Caligula in this country or more of the Mayberry?

Freddie Mercury was flamboyant... as was Elton John in his own goofy way, but they never felt the need to do soft porn on stage to make headlines. They relied mainly on musicianship and vocal talent.
Adam Lambert is just doing whatever it takes to make a buck. I think he represents an aggressive commercial force that is typical in pop music, it just so happens he is openly gay.
I haven't heard him CD, don't want to. I don't really care for his brand of bullshit.

Never thought I would agree with Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Love ya, Adam, but no one remembers the song. People seem to be forgetting that this is network TV, not cable, wrong venue for this stuff. The kiss was not shocking and if that was all he did there wouldn't be this reaction.

i am bisexual and fully open about my sexuality but what he did was wrong in the fact that he mimicked sexual things into his performance that many children probably seen. He said himself that the kiss, and the crotch sniff was NOT part of his choreography. I am aware of the fact that he may be thriving for publicity but he is going about it all wrong. He is a wonderful singer who shouldn't lower himself to such obscene things.

Adam is wild and unique, who didn't get that vibe from Idol? I'm glad he did it. It wasn't even that bad, there are just as many raunchy moments in Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Cougartown (All ABC shows, its just st8 kinkyness). And I like those shows and do not want them to become more conservative. Adam is also going to be way more successful then some other idols including Chris Allen. Adam keep it up.

I seen the performance. First of all, what he did shouldn't be shocking to people cause you see the same stuff he pulled in magazines, TV-both network and cable. So what he kissed a guy WHO CARES!!!!!!! He put some person's head in his crotch--That's not shocking, I seen way WORSE things than what Lambert did. Please people need to GROW UP!!!!!!!

Just watching them talk over each other....the "girls" did not let her speak and they have a tendency to do that with Barbara..., Whoopi lets her frustration show but the other three (J. S. and E) can't wait...I quit watching The View because all the jabbering makes me feel irritated...why don't they learn to let each person get a complete thought stated before they jump in...gotta love Whoppi though....

All haters and ignorant people who thought themselves rightious to God, should stop and check themselves first. Parents should filter shows like this especially if it has been known for explicit displays. Why do you think they had it set up after 10:00 pm, so ABC do not have to pay fines. They were aware of it as well as the dancers. But Adam, as honest as he has been, is willing to take the blame all by himself for good reason.
