The main thing that started helping me to accept math was that I learned, all the things you do in math are like tools. The more tools you have the easier a job can be. I have a Romanian for my math teacher in my school...so this helps a lot, at least he's not yelling at us for using our calculator or because we don't get it, they're very passionate about their math...

@HaruXIchiban808 - Because not all math SAVVY people are teacher SAVVY people. All of my math teachers through out high school and most of my gen ed in college where absolutely HORRIBLE. Of course I grew up in so cal so that does explain a lot. Once I got to Illinois (UIUC) all the math started making sense because UIUC had some REAL teachers. If I asked why, they could fully and clearly explain everything without introducing any logic fallacies along the way.

Somehow these teachers you see here in the internet teach better than the one's in class. They get to the point,make the problem simpler so you don't get lost and don't have a thick accent like a teacher i use to have.
