Wow, I didn't realize that they were on the Verizon network! My neighbor has been raving about their $45 unlimited plan with no hidden fees. Personally I'm stuck with $72 for essentially the same plan, I asked my provider if I could terminate my contract early and they told me that I had to pay a $150 fee for that. 1 more year until cell phone freedom. Here I come Straight Talk!!

I also text alot, and whats awesome about the unlimited deal is I can text all month and I can't run out. And the reason we don't drop calls is that ST is on the verizon and at&t networks:)

Straight Talk has not failed me yet by dropping calls on the verizon Network even while travelling extensively in the US. You can't beat their simple, real value for money prepaid packages. I was on metro. But the coverage was just too weak. Made me doubt prepaid phones. But so far straight talk has just done the job.

@chinita71100 You actually aren't just confinded to Walmart stores to buy Straight Talk since you can go online and there are lots of great shipping deals and in my case, they had even more phones on-line than in stores. Their Smart Phone selection is getting much better and that it will attract even more people.

This testimonial is all true because I checked for myself. I went to Walmart to buy stuff for the Holidays, and in the electronics department they have Straight Talk. I had read comments but wanted to check it for myself. I bought a Straight Talk and the $30 a month plan with 1000 min. text/talk plus 30mb of data. Can't complain and with No Contracts or hidden prices (like extra minutes that where not cover in the plan) I can laugh all the way to the bank.

If you're not already a customer, you need to check out the ST website. They are offering a few incredible deals...pay $45 for the unlimited plan or $30 for the all you need plan and you get a phone free. The selection will vary based on where you live. Some even include free shipping. Now's the time to make the switch.

Misty definitely knows what's up. Straight Talk really is the real deal and is by far the best prepaid phone company out there. Great service, awesome phones, a cheap low price, it has the ingredients of a perfect holiday gift.

It really does seem like a no brianer not to give this Straight Talk business a go. I think the Dec/Jan festive period is a perfect time for me to put this to the test - the deal is obviously great but I want to check out the coverage before I cancel my contract and I do love my blackberry at the moment. If the coverage is as good the I could just get a nokia smart phone or something because apparently they are just a great. Anyone have one?

I have the new Nokia 6790 from straighttalk and believe me there is no better phone available. With the $45 unlimited plan for 30 days I really am a winner and feel as though I have complete freedom of the cellphone world

For Christmas I am buying my kids a straighttalk phone to put in their stocking. I like the idea of $30 a month and 1000 minutes - it keeps them in contact but also has to teach them about budgeting which I think is so important nowadays

i agree with misty 100 percent. straight talk is the best thing that happened to me in a while. i live alone and have to keep a tight budget to make ends meet, and straight talk is a great help with that. but not only the plan and the phones are great, the service is too. i went to walmart and got the $45 a month unlimited plan, a nice cheap phone for only $19.99 and st managed to allow me to keep my old phone number. no that is a great service and the unlimited plan true value for money

I can't believe how easy it is to save money with straight talk cellphones. Their service plan is the most fantastic plan out there that money can buy. I definitely get more bang for my buck with the $30 a month plan that gives me 1000 texts, 1000 minutes, and 1000 mb of data!

Kids these days really do spend so much time on their phones these days. When I have kids there is no way I will ever consider a contract deal. One of these set deals with Straight Talk must just take all the stress out of it. $30 a month for 1000 minutes, texts and data transfer is perfect. It's just so easy to monitor.

Of course she loves the service, it's provided by Verizon! The service is excellent, all you have to do is go up to your nearest Wlamart, buy one of these awesome phones and pay only 45 bucks a month for unlimited texts and minutes. Get to it!

I am on the straighttalk $45 unlimited plan. I bought the phone at Walmart and then went onto the plan. I have saved so much money since I swopped. Before I was on this plan my phone bill would cost anything upto $100 depending on the calls I had made. Now I just pay $45 and can phone nationwide unlimited as well as text and data. I put my son onto this plan as well and all I know is that my family sure is saving money thanks to straighttalk

I did my research and found that ST really is the best deal out there in terms of savings and ease - you can find everything at Walmart and that doesn't get any easier. My mom, brother, and partner are all on the ST network and we all have our own unlimited $45 plan and it works out better than most family plans and no sharing. It's really something to find the prefect combo of coverage and money.

I compared a few plans, like she did, and didn't find anything that compared to what Straight Talk offers. Can't say I have a daughter but I do text a lot and the $30 card gives me 1000 of them, great value.

Bough straight talk card activated on 7/24/10 and getting you don't have enough fund msg. customer service can't fix it and i'm out phone for 48hrs due to technical difficulty. NOT THE FIRST TIME I GET A LOUSY SERVICE..
