This film has a message. Tony Quinn is in trouble (not the, "can't go to the bathroom" kind.) and NOBODY will take time to bail him out. Finely something snaps, and he takes over. The message is this: If you get pissed off enough at a situation, you SNAP and get ANGRY. Then you MAKE things happen to fix the situation. Anthony Quinn knew how to pick fantastic stories.
A bunch of the same '50s used cars get bashed into each other in this scene - gray '59 Plymouth, yellow '57 Chevy, etc. - in repeated short shots. Of course they wouldn't use new 1960s cars in good condition in staged accidents.
this is my fave part of the movie i think its hilarious when michael is arguing with the cops!!!!!!! michael is so sexy!!!!!! even with bleach blond hair!!!!!!!!!
