@Euromediann .. they are always in the soring, or at least before summer. I've gone every year for a long time, started when I was in HS still and never stopped... I'd check the pacific raceways schedual. make sure to make it out!

Hey by the way what time do the drags start (what time do you have to be there by) because i see that they fall on a friday this year so im assuming its after school

@bad65stang ..the last like 3 or 4 years it always starts around noon for the test runs... always before school...I always just told my teachers and they let me go a few hours early to drive out to the track. I'll for sure come out to the may ones. I go every year without fail even now that I've been outta school for some time. they will start saying what time what is when soon. i dont have anything to bring as of right now but i might have something in a few weeks. not sure what lol...

@67mustangreg No, I graduated in 09 so HS drags is out for me. I raced my 96 GT though back then. It was kinda slow but it was fun. Ran my Mach 1 a few times but Im about to trade her in on an STi now.

@catwalkcody ... it more then just one school. it's all the western washington schools. and I think even out of state kids can go. you just need a student ID card or be under 21 years of age. i think they have the same ype of event across the country at different tracks. google yours and see if they have one near you.

@67mustangreg i would but like i live in canada and the next closes drag track in ottawa and im like 10 hours away from there but i like idk i got my car running now but i wish i had my dads car other then my 1994 mustang i wish i have his 1967 mustang haha but anyways i wish this could happen in canada in ontario

@catwalkcody its not related to any part of any high school its just something the local track puts on it gives us high schoolers a chance to race in a bracket style with out having to run against the adults with the money and the faster cars its kinda nice i just wish they did it more than a few times a year

@greengaurd yes and no, many of the home built looking cars really are drive by kids. Most of the imports, including the subbies,most of the mustang foxbodies etc... the GT-R was from in kid who drove up from cali. doubt it was his. yes, many of the cars are daddies car or truck. thats kinda not the point of "high school drags" but run what ya brung is the saying. the hennessy camaro SS was just overkill. only like 10 or 100 or some crazy number in the world i think.

@nickyvodka Pacific Raceways does "Test & Tunes", you pay and then do a bunch of laps all day to try to improve. Check their site for dates.

Thanks for showing the 68 Charger! it was great on the track, my best run was 15.3 @ 89mph.
