I have used manic panic and special-effects, and special-effects last the longest, it was kinda hard to get rid of really. and don't worry fun colors wont damage your hair at all. it's just pigments and veggie-oil.

that kind of color is deposit only so the longer you leave the longer it will stay.. bleaching is the part that damages your hair, the color and conditioner restores keratin!

I think Manic Panic is pretty good. It's not permanent, but it last longer than the brand RAW. From what you told us. :) I've tried the pink & purple of Manic Panic. & It's definitely lasted longer than 2 washes :)

I used the same brand of hair dye, but i got the cotton candy pink, and it was similar to your color, but it was alittle more like cotton candy yeah, it was like a cute pink, yours is cute to but i just wanted like a brighter pink, and if you use heat on it, it stays in after a few more washes, i actually couldnt completly get rid of it, my hair was like bleach blonde tho. :)

I've tried that exact color on very blonde hair and its not really necessary to worry about it coming out the color it is in the bottle. It is definitely a baby pink.

Punk colors is a better simi-perm hair dye.

Plus they have a larger verity in color.

It last a long time and yeah... it's all around better.

Cheap too.

Also, it's conditioner based. so it's better for your hair.

I don't know if anyone has already told you this, but the color you're using doesn't have any sort of chemicals in it like regular hair color has. It's just a stain, not a dye. It's vegetable oil based, and is basically a colored conditioner. So really, when you color your hair with the pink dye and conditioner, you're just deep conditioning your hair. :)

I dye my hair with a bit of color a lot. The only brand I'll use is special effects. Mixing anything with conditioner will cause it to fade quicker. But special effects, I wash my hair every other day, with full strength color and it lasts for about 2 months on my hair before fading all the way (most importantly, it WILL fade all the way, most brands stain.)

Raw is semi-permanent dye, and semi-permanent dyes can't damage your hair so......yeah. Semi-permanent colors are basically stains , not dyes. They stain whatever color onto your hair without opening your hair cuticles and such. They just put the color on your hair and your hair soaks it in, it's like conditioning your hair. This means leaving it over night won't damage your hair. But you would never leave a real hair dye over night, cause you might wake up and not have any hair....

The vast majority of these kind of dyes (Raw, Special Effects etc.) are vegetable dyes, and have little chance of damaging your hair by themselves. The longer you leave the dye on (I have gone hours with it on) the stronger the color and the longer it will last. They all wash out every time you wash your hair, I found that washing every other day made it last a lot longer. Also, don't go to bed with wet hair it will come off on your pillow cases (this means no white towels too!) scary!

If your husband lost it over your hair he would feel like a jerk in a week because it would all be washed out. I'm surpised to hear the half lashes didnt work for you. Make sure you use human hair lashes and dont forget to curl and use mascara.
