The flaw is the lock not causing a delay (or incapacitating the lock) after an incorrect attempt. It wouldnt inconvenience the true keyowner any more than him losing or breaking his key anways, in which he cant get in. Thats the problem with anything vulnerable to brute force attacks.

Ugh... considering that it takes several attempts to read the valid token (1-wire network is not a paragon of reliable data transmission which is why they have CRC slapped all over it), if it will take 15 minutes to unlock the door with a legit key...

Would be easy to program a delay of a few minutes in the lock (after every wrong key) so it's pointless to bruteforce it.
