  • Hey I don't know if it was you who made the video/editing but I really love it

    Thanks for posting

  • sad comic bastards - did they ever realise how funny they r?

  • this song sucked into my brain forever. me luv it!

  • i want this played at my funeral

  • i find if hard to compare this beautiful song to anything else or before.. to all those ppl that say ,usic was better when they were around in the 60 and 70s

  • @narred

Actually, this song incorporates many qualities typical of a 60s hit. Those formulas still worked in the 90s, and even today, though they've become rather rarely employed.

  • Remind me some wonderful years when i was still student... Just too amazing every time i hear it! Very emotional!!! A music masterpiece of our generation!

  • Love this song so much.....

  • God I love this song

  • een dijk van een nummer

lijkt wel erg op een nummer uit mijn jeugd, seventies vooral het gitaar spel"

ik weet alleen niet meer van wie

  • What a great song :)

  • don't kill me but the guitar rift reminded me of the guitar rift of don't stop believing by journey :P

  • @gluuu Similar chord sequence yes, would probably make a nice mash-up. I'm always reminded of this when I listen to 'with or without you' by U2

  • topnummer

  • anyone who likes the manics will rate this as their best

  • @geneen2008 I would have called it there best many years ago, but they have so many

  • @geneen2008 No so, I've followed the Manics since Gold Against the Soul, my fav track is "The girl who wanted to be God. Not released as a single, but a fantastic song off a decent album. Just remember who you are talking to when you post comments. There are a lot of very knowledgable Manic fans out there...

  • really really great guitar playing right there

  • guitarsoul

  • Love this video, thanks so much for sharing!

  • sounds like guns and roses on a bad day

  • @cinedores you nob-end

  • @cinedores you nob-end

  • @cinedores What, are Guns n' Roses BETTER on their bad days than they usually are?

  • @j9o9h9n9n9y9

guns and roses are shit - that's the point i.e. what does that make the manics?

  • @cinedores Aw, poor you.

  • one off the best song ive had the joy to ever come across BRILLIANT

  • good video. possibly better than the original. That's the escalator up the mid-levels where i used to live in HK.Christ, I used to listen to this song going up there everyday, day after day, after work about 12 years ago.. A very suitable location for a hymn to alienation, despair, circulated capitalism, monotony, etc..good job..

  • toujoure aussi bon

  • Accident, motorcycle. Then you hear this song at my funeral.

  • Awesome!

  • One of the best songs ever!

  • i' m full of life that sometimes i want to become empty.

  • Absolutely one of the most brilliant songs of the last 2 decades. The Manics are touching every nerve in your spine with raging guitarsounds and convincing voices of James Dean Bradfield and Nicky Wire.

  • stranger on a solar system

  • seen them last friday, they opened up with this... fucking epic!

  • 2 words LOVE IT!!!! even i like it and im 15 years old. Kids my age listen to freaking Justin Bieber. I dont understand why everyone thinks hes so good i like this WAY more

  • Did you did this video or is this from the Manics?

  • this song is so underated... i love it

  • @xptogatao

It's not underrated at all. Every review has been very favorable towards this album and this song.

  • класссс

  • naprawde super kawałek

  • How old is this song?

  • @LukySKS It's from 1992.

  • @LukySKS 1992

  • and i must say that the video is VERY NICE!!!! thanks!

  • and the video is magik, like the song!!

  • this song touches my heart...................

  • the lyrics is tailor made for HK.

  • I wonder why this song was not a "real" worldwide smash hit. It was popular, yes, but I think it diserved more success. Absolutely brilliant like the whole album "generation terrorists".

  • @themanogni the band itself should be getting more credit... :/

  • Love this song, tried it on piano if anyone has time maybe check it out. Not the best version but had a go,cheers
