@719backdraft in my department... as we pull up.. we un-buckle. it saves time. wear the seatbelt there and as you pull upas your coming to a stop unbuckle... rig goes into park... jump out and getthe job dome. and all rigs have seatbelts. even the ones from the 90's. thats NFPA regulation.

Go to a fire and you will constantly hear the alarms going on and off, when it goes off, just shake your pack a little bit and keep working

Two trucks is NOT enough. NYC has thousands of wood frame buildings interconnected at the roof level. One little fire can, end up burning the enitre block down. I know because I am a FDNY firefighter. I'm certain if you are trapped in a building on fire in NYC you will be extremely pleased with the service provided by our guys.
