It hypes me up when Filipino artists cover Adam Lambert version of songs. And even covering Adam Lambert songs. I'm a Filipino and proud of all Filipino artists. Of course, Adam Lambert is better in singing this song. I respect Jed because he is one of the best Filipino vocalist out there :D

This is what pinoys are good at, copying songs/covers of other people. Instead of just making the song his own he simply copied everything, and thats the reason you can't feel any genuine emotion in it. Nice vocals, but we all know good vocalists are a dime a dozen out there, the ones who make it big are usually the ones who reinvent a song, or make their own unique song. And when i say reinvent i didn't mean to just change the melody and whatnot, but to make the song your own.

Jed Madela is a professional artist. Adam Lambert is known in American Idol. Both are great artists. So why do you need to compare both of them???

Don't worry Jed doesn't want to be like Adam. He is an artist /performer of a show, he was just asked to do Adam's song since there is a clamor for an Adam Lambert song, If you think Jed copied Adam, watch Jed's other video performances here in Youtube, it is not by choice that Jed and Adam happen to almost have the same singing style, and they almost have the same tone of voice not to mention the ability to hit high notes.

I guess it's unfortunate that Jed was assigned to sing the song. I guess because he is probably one of only a few singers who can hit the high notes like Adam hits, and i guess it is a set back that their is a similarity in their voices, but Jed had already been singing this way even before Adam Lambert came.

not necessarily a tribute. it's an attempt to mimic which is sad. i don't know why filipino artists, as good as they are, have such a penchant for mimicry and take great pride in it. it's sad because they're undermining their own creativity. if i wanted to listed to adam lambert's version of the song, i'd listen to adam lambert, not jed madela. if you were to cover an existing song, do it your own way. infuse it with your own personality and point of view, you know.
